We stayed just one night while waiting to port for a cruise but would return. The house and backyard was great. Short walk to the beach, restaurants, and entertainment. My only recommendation would be to ensure there is some laundry soap and dishwasher tabs for your visitors to use.
I took four teenage girls for a short beach stay. The house is really cute. Three blocks to beach. Fire pit patio out back. Outdoor shower. I loved it. Will be going back!
Very kind and attentive host ! Beautiful rooms and living room, everything was neat and organized. Very warm and calming outdoor patio. Walking distance to the beach. Calm and quiet neighborhood l would definitely recommend !
OMG WE can not say enough Great things about this place. It was perfect. We had everything we needed. VERY clean, Very quite. Would rent again in a heart beat. The back was such a great place to relax after a day look fishing. Christopher was awesome and made sue we had everything we needed. Thank you Christopher for checking on us. God bless.
This place is beautiful and accommodating for our big family. They had toys, games and things to do for all ages, me and my husband included. The host was very responsive and kind. The decor was lovely in every single room. The back porch was relaxing and private. Two blocks from a convenient store that has everything. It’s listed as a meat market. Three blocks from beach. Walking distance to Salt Grass.
We had a wonderful overnight stay at this sweet, cozy place. We came down for Mardi Gras celebrations and wanted to stay away from the hotels and too close to the festivities. The location was a quick 15 minute walk to the Strand. We took a 5 minute UBER ride to the Strand and realized it was really foolish to take a ride back to the property. The home is exactly as pictured. Super clean and very comfortable. While we did not have the opportunity to use the kitchen, it was well stocked with all the necessities to prepare a meal if needed. Just enough room for 6-8 people. Only one bathroom, but when you're with friends and family, its just a small detail. We were able to sit outside in the evening to enjoy the firepit. We highly recommend the property. Christopher was easy to contact and readily available and responsive.

BEWARE OF HOST
Customer beware! I was charged $100 to steam clean two white chair covers that are in the KITCHEN. That’s right white chair covers in the kitchen that are white- apparently had some stains and I’m now stuck with the bill. I called VRBO and they said it falls under cleaning fee, and not to pay. I told the host I paid for damage insurance so he can use that. I have stayed at many VRBOs as a family of 6 and have never once been charged for anything. We respect peoples home, and treat it as if it’s our own.
There were bugs in the kitchen and in the bathroom there were dead spiders and cobwebs on the ceiling corners of the shower. After I told the host he told me not to argue with him, and that his house gets cleaned after each guest.
After I told him to tell the guest ahead of time to keep the white chair covers clean or they’ll be stuck with the bill, he also told me that the used towels were dirty and also the comforter. I can’t believe he is complaining about dirty towels- in a beach community rental. I guess I should of dressed myself and whole family in bubble wrap so we didn’t dirty any towels or slept in any beds.
Be careful if you want to grill, one of the wood panels on the fence is broken and fell on the grill while my husband was grilling.
If you are staying here for 1 day or not really “living” in it then you’ll be fine and prob won’t be charged for living in the home. I cook every day. I don’t recommend.
Chris is a super host. Property was exactly as expected. His communications were timely and helpful. The neighbors are adorable! They heard it was my granddaughters birthday and sent over a gift. They were also kind enough to take responsibility for our left over groceries. I highly recommend this property.
