Inspire your imagination and creativity in this sweet location, featuring an Art Studio stocked with Art Supplies to make your retreat a creative one. We provided sketch books, drawing supplies, watercolor paints and a sweet little North FacingArt Studio with Awesome Viewsto indulge your inspired creative expression! This Cabin is, and always has been, a location of Meditation and Silent Retreat.

At over 8000' altitude, there are cool mountain breezes, a ceiling fan in the main room, portable fan in the bedroom, and recently added designer window treatments that create shade, from the passive solar windows, for your continuous comfort!
Guests will enjoy cooking in the cozy kitchen that is well stocked to cook your own delectable cuisine. Dining can be enjoyed inside with spectacular views out the living room windows, or enjoyed on the screened porch, where you can see the valley and the majestic mountains as well. The cabin also includes laundry facilities, WIFI connection, a small Streaming TV, and the front room desk for your computer workspace. The master bedroom offers a restful night's sleep on the queen bed, and in the morning, open the bedroom window shade to the view of Challenger Mountain! The adjoining full bathroom has all the basic amenities of soaps, shampoos, towels, and hair dryer. You can bring a friend or loved one as we also offer a fold out couch in the main living area.
Enjoying the outdoors is easy with the multiple outdoor seating areas, a large, screened porch, and even hiking trails close by. Enjoy the amazing mountain range that includes 4 Fourteeners, multiple hiking trails, 3 nearby Hot Springs locations, the interesting town of Crestone, and of course the Beautiful Sand Dunes National Park.

The UFO Center is on the way to Hooper, going south on 17.There are many local hiking trails near the cabin, some folks suggest the North Crestone Trailhead, Willow Lake is a great day hike, and the Creekside trails along the greenbelts in the Baca Grande Subdivision are spectacular and lush. The Quiet Retreat Cabin is a great place for outdoor enthusiasts and folks looking for a peaceful mountain getaway.
Crestone Colorado is in the middle of the San Luis Valley. There is very limited public transportation in the area. We recommend Four Wheel Drive, or at least- All Wheel Drive if you are looking to come and stay during the Winter Season.
