Beautiful place! Horrible time checking in!
The overall stay was amazing! It’s exactly like the pictures online. We had an amazing ocean view, which I mistakenly thought would be oceanfront. Check in was horrifying—when I called for help, the outsourcing company Thomas Beach Rental uses—is very rude and not helpful. When we were given our welcome packet, we were given the wrong information. We couldn’t get into our room so we had to wait outside in the rain with a car full of groceries, with our little ones too. We called for help which took over 30 mins to get someone online … when we finally got someone we got Rochelle. She wasn’t empathetic at all, she was annoyed that I was calling it seemed, and then she gave me more wrong info then told me to call back if I still cant get into my room. Remember we’re still waiting outside of our condo, with two little ones in the rain! I hung up with her … my husband had to drive back to the check in place, to get the correct keyless code from Kevin, the director. He was so amazing and accommodating! He made sure we got into our room and didn’t leave us hanging. Unfortunately, we ran into another issue during check in, the wifi info given to us was also wrong so we didn’t have internet for almost 3 days, which no big deal to some but we needed it for personal reasons! Again, Kevin made sure the maintenance guy came out and fixed that too. Our overall stay was amazing even though check in was a nightmare. Kevin made sure to make up for the confusion.
