We had a wonderful time visiting your beautiful home. The house was clean, private and had plenty of room for the 5 of us. The sunsets were magnificent! Coming from NH we were grateful that the Smoky Mountains had so few bugs 😃
We had a lovely time in this cabin. It is very well stocked and loved the little thoughts like hand soap pumps (not those little bars!), extra tp and paper towels. Salt and pepper. Our girls had fun in the basement with the games, especially on a rainy day.
This was the perfect home for our family vacation in the Smokey Mountains! It was private and safe, with an amazing view, yet close enough to town and area attractions. The cabin was clean, spacious for our family of 6 adults, and very comfy! The hot tub and game room was an extra bonus! Kyle was a great host, who communicated with us from the moment we booked. Everything was perfect and we can’t wait to return!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning surroundings. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful.
The property is just as pictured except the pictures of the view didn’t do it justice. The property was clean and had everything you needed. The check in and check out process was simple and Kyle, the owner, responds quickly to any questions. Truly enjoyed our stay in Bryson City.
The layout of the house was great. Everything was very clean. The views were amazing. The proximity to Bryson City and GSMNP were great. Received immediate response when reached out to owner. Great experience!
Happy New Year! What an amazing way to start off 2024 in the most peaceful, tranquil setting in North Carolina! We had a great stay! The house was fun, roomy, and came with an “easiest to communicate with” host… what more could you need! We had a fabulous weekend and can’t wait to return in the future.
We had an amazing time staying at this property. When we first arrived at the property, the view took my breath away. It was nice to sit on the front deck first thing in the morning with my coffee and be able to look out at the mountains. The home is open and airy. 7 of us stayed and never once felt like it was crowed. The hosts are amazing and very responsive. If you are looking for a place to go, this is it. We can't wait to come back!
We had a great stay at the cabin. Plenty of space for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids. It was easy to get to, close enough to town if we needed anything, and not too far from the NP or hiking trails. There were a few things that could be touched up, a missing plug cover in the room the kids slept in, a few of the blinds were broken and we couldn't open them, and the water stop on the upstairs bathroom sink was broken. Nothing significant that dampened our trip though.
The communication with the host was great, easy check in and out. The view from the front porch was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting out there at night while the sun was setting. Our kids had such a great time they didn't want to leave. We will keep it in mind for future trips.
New, clean, and very well represented in the listing
This would seem to be exactly what you want in Bryson city. Good view, but not too far from town. The property is actually as is represented in the listing. Unfortunately, it is rare that you get what you think you’re going to get but that’s exactly what happened for us.
The house was just like the pictures. The view was so beautiful from the porch and you couldn't see any other houses making the home feel secluded and private. The location was perfect to access the NOC and GSMNP. It was clean and well stocked with linens, firewood and kitchen items. The owner reaponded so quickly when we had questions too. Another reviewer mentioned poor water pressure, but our family of 5 never had an issue. We would definitely stay here again!
We loved our stay at this property. It is a beautiful house sitting high up in the hills with a gorgeous mountain view from the deck. The house was large, spacious, comfortable and as advertised. We really appreciated the deck and the covered hot tub with views of the mountains. It was the perfect space for 3 adults and 2 kids. Accommodations were great - kitchen was well-stocked, house included things like a pack-n-play for our young toddler and entertainment in basement (e.g. fussball table) was much appreciated by our older son. Would highly recommend this property to other guests!
My wife and I, our 9 year old son and my parents all stayed here after Christmas, to enjoy some time outdoors in the area. The cabin was nice and secluded, with a great view out the front porch, but still easy to get groceries, get to trails, do some sightseeing, etc.
There was plenty of space for everyone, it was well stocked, and quite comfortable. We didn't have much need to communicate with the owners, but they replied promptly when we did ask questions. The entrance is a little hard to find, but their directions got us there, even in the dark after a 3 hour drive from Knoxville.
One thing to note for large groups: the water pressure could get low with so many people, so some planning may be required for showers and dishes.
We ventured to the area to ride the Polar Express. My husband, myself, my college sophomore and my 10 year old all thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. It’s beautiful, handy to Bryson City and we all really loved taking advantage of the hot tub. There is a powder room beside the master bedroom in addition to the master bath en suite which was nice. The downstairs playroom in the basement was fun for the family and my 10 year old loved the futon on the platform of the second floor and called it her cozy spot. The cabin is not hard to find and while the driveway is not easy, there are far worse to navigate in the area. If you are not an experienced driver I would strongly advise you to consider all wheel drive if you’re going to navigate that part of the state in snow or ice. The host was extremely responsive during the booking process when I had a few questions. The checkout process was the easiest process ever and I rent quite a bit. The space is comfortable, well stocked and we were quite grateful for the first aid kit which we needed when my 19 year old cut his foot and there was nothing open on Thanksgiving day. The kit happened to be stocked with exactly what we needed until the stores opened Black Friday. I would definitely recommend to others!
We enjoyed staying at this property! The home was very nice and clean. The game room in the basement was a big hit and the kids enjoyed the hot tub. The home was stocked
well, which made it easy to cook a big breakfast before venturing out for the day. This property is conveniently located to downtown Bryson City, which was perfect because our polar express train ride was at 8:30pm.
Great property and responsive host. The kids loved it. The only thing I would change is the Memory Foam mattress in the master bedroom ( hated it!). Otherwise perfect. Highly recommended.
Great experience! Beautiful views! Such an amazing time. We loved this home, the view from the hot tub was spectacular. Close proximity to Bryson City. We enjoyed the train and zip lining. We will definitely rent again.

About the host

We currently reside in Florida but needed an escape from the heat. We love visiting NC to hike and fish!
Why they chose this property
We bought this property to escape the heat of Florida and wanted something that was close to town but had incredible views of the mountains.
We also enjoy the fact that it sits at 3,000 ft elevation making it about 5 degrees cooler than the surrounding areas.
What makes this property unique
The house sits on 5.2 private acres offering peaceful seclusion. It's unique in that you won't see any other house around you giving you ample time to enjoy the views and wilderness of the Smoky Mountains.
