Absolutely great getaway location for families, couples, business men and women that want to unwind. The home is located on a dead end street so there is minimal traffic. It is truly peaceful and the beautiful surrounding woods will take your breath away. The house boasts 3 fire places from electric, to wood burning. It is truly a piece of heaven awaiting for guests to enjoy. Nice hilly area around the property for fun all year around. Streets are ATV routes and can be accessed with ATV/UTV/Snow Mobile. Public lake access within 10 minutes for all your boating and fishing. Adventures from use of the public hunting/fishing area, to hitting the irons on the Glacier Wood Golf Course, or spending time relaxing, there is something for all. Treat yourself by admiring the peacefulness. Whether its enjoying outdoor toys or cooking up marshmallows around the fire pit, the options are endless. This three story home boasts four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main level holds two bedrooms, and a bathroom. The great room is complete with a massive stone fireplace, flat screen TV and wireless internet access. Lots of room to roam

This was our second time staying at this property. The owners are responsible. The property is convenient for parking but what really separates this property from its competition is its sheer size. This place is HUGE. The master bedroom is huge. The master bathroom is huge. The living area and dining areas are huge. The downstairs / bar/gaming area is huge. It is very easy for a large group to settle into this property. Space is plentiful for all your needs. Enjoy our stay once more.

Wisconsin Getaway

This home is a perfect getaway for any group. The cabin itself has everything you would need to be comfortable including WiFi, full kitchen with any utensils you’d need and TVs that can stream anything you’d want to watch. It’s also very private. Great value as well. Would go back if ever in the area again.

Guys Weekend

Perfect for our group of 8 looking to enjoy some campfires, nature, golf, Packer game and hanging out. The cabin was clean, well stocked and plenty big. We will definitely keep as an option for future trips.

Wonderful spot

The house was clean, spacious, and modern. Beds were comfortable and plenty of them if you bring family or friends. Property in the picture looks bigger than it really is but still a nice size. Would definitely go back again if in the area. Worth the money for sure.

Comfortable place to stay. Description was accurate. Could use a bathroom downstairs but other than that, A-OK! Communication w/the host was great. Maybe a 10 minute drive into Iola for the IGA, cafe, bar.

Fantastic getaway with friends!

The property was clean, setup well for a group, and contained all the amenities one would need. Location is remote and with nature everywhere...but no complaints at all about this rental!

Everything was Great!

Stayed here with my wife and two other adult couples for the Iola Old Car Show. The cabin was well cleaned, well maintained, and well stocked. Exactly as depicted in the photos. We liked it so much we’ve already booked it again for next year!

Beautiful Wooded Retreat

We booked this home to celebrate our parents' 50th wedding anniversary. It was everything we were looking for and more! The property is secluded and has a beautiful yard! We enjoyed sitting on the deck to enjoy the beauty of the treeline during the day and sitting around the campfire at night. We had no issues with bugs or mosquitoes. The kitchen is large and had everything we needed to make our meals. We only left once to go out for a Fish Fry. I highly recommend the Thirsty Perch in Iola. Amazing food and service. The prices were so reasonable with good portions of food. We took the bikes out for a short ride and saw some deer. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. I would most definitely book this property again without hesitation. The owners were incredibly responsive and accommodating! Could not be happier with our stay! Jen

Fantastic Long Weekend

My party of 8 had a fantastic long weekend at the property. Everything looked just like the listing and the host was very responsive to questions in the run-up to the trip. Well-stocked kitchen, nice outdoor fire pit, great kitchen/dining area. Highly satisfied.

Beautiful getaway

Beautiful get away! Had a wonderful Christmas with my family. Even though we didn’t go out just staying in was great! Definitely will come back again and try a different season and enjoy outside amenities as well! Love it!

A warm home for winter

A lovely winter experience. Wonderful view of falling snow outside . 3 fireplaces for warmth. The host is very responsive. Plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy the stay!

Perfect anniversary get away

My husband and I wanted to get away from the city and this was the perfect place for that. The town nearby was cute and friendly and the place was clean and cozy. We saw lots of deer and 10-12 turkey walking in the yard. There were a few minor things that could be repaired. The heater was quite loud, but overall it was perfect for what we were looking for. We would definitely book this again.

What a great place!

The host was very responsive throughout the process. The house is fantastic- remote, peaceful location and very clean! The kitchen is fully stocked, everything is in great shape/new. The outdoor spaces are wonderful. Would highly recommend!

Private Getaway

We stayed here for a small family retreat. There were several things to keep both the adults and children entertained: pool table, foosball, board games, playing cards, TVs, etc. Great location with lots of privacy and enough room in the yard to run around. We brought our own bean bag, badminton set, and football to play in the yard. Nice firepit for smores and ghost stories. The house was also well stocked with kitchen supplies, towels, dish soap/sponge, laundry detergent, shampoo, toilet paper, etc. There were only a few minor things - propane was empty, but the owner offered to reimburse us for it; there were random nails and bolts falling out of the high chairs (both upstairs and down stairs), the railing was a little loose and there were a couple nails on the ground that were a trip hazard, the pool stick holder was loose and a couple light switches kept falling off. I do wish there were window curtains for the basement windows and patio. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay very much and would stay again.

Nice Weekend Getaway

Nice large cabin in the woods with plenty of space for entertaining. The luxuries of this place was nice and provided a nice setting for our family. There could be some more maintainer done to the property that would make the place perfect. Overall there was little issue with our stay and would consider returning again next. Great place for two family’s or a larger one to be able to get away!

Nature dwelling at its best.

Family gathering in a peaceful and private dwelling. Very rare to have any traffic go by this lovely setting in nature. Lots of room for a family reunion or special occasions. Close to Waupaca chain of lakes for a wonderful boat cruise and dinner. Make your reservation.
