Friendly hosts unprepared for guests
House was dirty and dusty. Was not stocked with kitchen or cleaning materials. None of the ceiling fans had covers on the lights and all were inoperable. The refrigerator and freezer did not work on starting stay; when they reconnected it leaked all over the floor and warped them completely - then leaked into the basement rendering the whole level unusable. Loss of a bedroom and bathroom. WIFI and TV did not work on arrival and took multiple days to resolve and trips from host. Windows did not close completely and some did not have screens, unsafe for kids a. The entire property had many many wasps nests which also took multiple trips from hosts. They replaced the refrigerator, but left the old fridge In the living room for multiple days. The oven was not plugged in and we had to pull it out to connect. The back yard was unkempt and full of weeds, and the back deck stairs were very damaged and seemed unsafe. A grill was listed as an amenity but it was really really filthy and rusted; unusable. There were no porch lights on the front porch, which is another area where wasps made their home. There was no garage code and we were asked to reset and set the garage code. The master shower is not adjustable. First attempt at a shower was a cold shower the entire time. Hosts cane out yet again and adjusted, then it was so hot that I had to leave the shower. They adjust again and it went back to being too cold. Again the water was not adjustable and I gave up after multiple attempts.
