Quiet and relaxing

A beautiful and quiet place. Convenient location for exploring the area. A good place for gathering and catching up. We enjoyed our time at the farmhouse.

Well-Situated Vintage Farm House

We enjoyed our time in the Petoskey area. The house was ideally situated in a rural setting but within a mile or so of big box hardware, grocery, and home goods stores as well as a wide range of dining options. Just a few miles from downtown Petoskey, several Lake Michigan beaches, wineries/cideries, and more.

Perfect place for Family Stay

We had a big family event and needed to be close to town. From the moment we arrived we were Satisfied. The amenities were just what we needed and more. Ease of entry, # of bedrooms, WIFI, fields to walk in, spacious kitchen. Thanks for thinking of all that you provided.

Lots of room, but needed cleaning

Enjoyed our stay. Lots of room to spread out. But the tablecloth is as stained and dirty with food. Cobwebs and dusting was much needed. No response when I reached out to the property manager after our stay. Other than that-was a good location to near by Petoskey.

Old farmhouse lacking the charm and and most things are broke and need replacing……

I use VRBO and the competition for all vacations and this was the worst we've experienced. It’s an old farmhouse as advertised but has zero charm. Everything was broke or beat up. All curtains are sheer so no privacy or shades from outside. Only 5 chairs at the table, all were broken the bottom. 5 chairs Ms for a 5 bedroom house is thought out well. We had 7 people so two had to stand up while setting every meal.- beds in downstairs and one upstairs bathrooms need replacing badly. You sink to the middle when sleeping with two people. My daughter’s bed was dirty when we arrived. Thankfully there was a washer so I could wash them before bedtime. -upstairs shower had mold and filth all along bottom.-dust in all surfaces of the tables and furniture.-it was just gross.-would never stay here again.-only thing good was the kitchen.-If we hadn’t been up there with extended family, we would have left right after we saw the place. But we had pre bought lift tickets for Nubs Bob and couldn’t get a place last minute on a holiday weekend.bottom.

Good for a ski trip

The house is old, so not everything is perfect, but it's cared for and nothing is out of ordinary for a house it's age. It was a good location and good layout for a two family trip. No problems or complaints. It's about equal distance from Nub's/Highlands and Boyne mountain (15 or so minutes from each) and 10 minutes or so from downtown Petoskey, which has good restaurants and some shops. I would recommend this property for any large groups or families who are coming up to ski. Thanks again

Adequate lodging

Roomy house! Probably not the best choice for senior citizens as the throw rugs were quite slippery and almost caused falls. Also, part of the stairway going upstairs does not have a handrail and the steps are quite short in length. It would have been helpful to have more directions about how to get TV channels. We could see Netflix listed as an option but could not access it. Of all the homes we rented, this had the fewest amenities. Of course that's not required, but a hair dryer, some trash bags and perhaps a few board games would be nice additions. Also, a pen and paper would be helpful.

Lovely vintage but updated home

This is a lovely old house with all the updates you could want. Also it’s literally like 10 minutes to downtown Petoskey, but it doesn’t feel like it. There are acres of land behind the house and the view across the fields in fall is stunning. Bonus, 3 winery/cider places within like 3 miles!!
