You will love the charming country setting, beautiful mountain views and the ability to interact with the full-time residents which includes a herd of llamas, a flock of chickens and a constant rotation of migratory birds. The overwhelming natural beauty, comfortable accommodations and the accessibility to grocery stores, shops and entertainment make this a great choice for a memorable stay in Northern Colorado!

Just imagine waking up each morning with a fresh cup of coffee, the glow of sunrise on the Rocky Mountains and birds chirping outside your window! Then pack your bags for a day of adventure since we are conveniently located within one hour of Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park and the Poudre Canyon. Or hop on your bike and explore the Poudre River Trail with access to Greeley, rolling agricultural roads or any of the nearby parks. Then finish the day with a delicious meal from one of the nearby restaurants or pick up some steaks and spark up the grill for a home-made meal with mountain views. This peaceful setting will provide the perfect opportunity for you to relax and recharge, so that you can do it all again tomorrow!

OUTDOOR LIVING: This studio apartment is located on a rural farm with llamas, chickens and roosters. It features beautiful mountain views, an outdoor fire pit, BBQ grill and bistro set for outdoor dining.

INDOOR LIVING: Flat screen Smart TV, small dining table with seating for 2 and books

KITCHEN: Kitchenette with a microwave, toaster, hot plate, mini fridge and coffee maker; cooking basics, dishware/flatware, complimentary coffee, creamer, tea and sweetener

BATHROOMS: Full bathroom with a combination tub/shower. We also include a hair dryer, soap, shampoo and conditioner for every guest stay.

GENERAL: Free WiFi, linens/towels, keyless entry, heating and air conditioning, complimentary toiletries, iron/board and cleaning essentials.

PARKING: Private parking available

PET POLICY: Dogs Welcome...We love dogs! However... all pets must be pre-approved (no aggressive breeds) and a pet fee will be due at booking. Unapproved pets and excessive barking or aggression are grounds for removal of pets from the property or eviction of tenants. One dog maximum.

My stay

It is a nice, cozy place. It is right next door to the house of the person who owns the property, but they kept to themselves; said hi, but that was it. The only thing to keep in mind is that they have a dog who likes to run around cars, so be careful pulling in.

Llamas were awesome!!!

The Llama place was awesome! Cool little place to stay. Amenities were all there. Perfect little place to visit, relax and unwind. Nice and quiet. Awesome views to the west with the Rocky Mountains and awesome sunsets.. Will Definitely be back!!

The simple life

Cute and simple place to stay, enjoyed feeding the llamas and getting to see Jersey the dog. Peaceful and quiet area away from the lights of the city. Great location away from city life but yet close enough to everything you want to see. Great couples retreat!

Llama, Whoa Mama!

This place is amazing. It’s quaint, off the beaten path, on a beautiful property with super friendly neighbors, and - - the llamas are the cutest, sweetest things ever! A great location for all things Ft Collins/Loveland. If flying, I would highly suggest checking flights in and out if Cheyenne because Denver is a bit of a headache right now. This place has a microwave, toaster oven, and mini fridge, so cooking at the cabin is limited, but there are TONS of amazing restaurants within 10-20 minutes. Main house has a super friendly dog too! But wow, just a heavenly location and experience! My wife and I loved it!

Llama Farm

Great time! Owner helped us with materials for Rocky Mountain National Park-- it was an outstanding experience. The site was clean and comfortable, bed really comfy. The llamas were cute 😀 Loveland had many restaurant choices-- the Spooky Tooth is in a nice rural area. Recommend ~ Thanks!

Peaceful Retreat

This was a lovely quiet property with views of the sunset and the mountains in the distance. It was in a more rural setting, but close to grocery stores, restaurants and more! We loved giving the llamas a treat in the mornings, although one just looked at us with a big toothy grin and refused their treat. lol :) Everything was clean and comfortable and we were so happy to be able to bring our little dog with us on vacation. Going out a night things were a little dark because the "Porch" light was not working. The kitchen was a little less than desired, but we made it work. I made a nice pot of coffee, but there were no glasses or cups available to drink it out of. "Cute llama" cups might be fun or "spooky tooth ranch" personalized cups that people could actually purchase? (Just a thought) Starbucks was close by, however and our favorite restaurant: "Chick fil a." We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely consider it again in the future! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Rural space, close to urban convenience

Great option if you want to stay in a relatively quiet area that feels rural but 10-20min to lots of restaurants shops and other conveniences. The llamas were a hit - loved walking out and trying to see where they were roaming about.

Peaceful location with amazing views

We enjoyed out stay at Spooky Tooth Ranch. The location is perfect, close to nearby towns while still giving you a peaceful country setting. We really enjoyed watching the Llamas. The property was very clean and stocked with everything you would need. We will definitely plan on booking again for future trips to the area.

Lovely setting

This is a lovely setting, away from the hub bub yet close to everything. The home was neat and clean and had everything we needed for an extended weekend in the Loveland area. The llamas were an added bonus - so cute. Stacy was incredible with her communication and easy to get in touch with when needed. I highly recommend the Spooky Tooth Ranch.

llama returns

Second stay here and if I am in the area, I always try and get this place first. Other than the fees for short visit, its a great place. Two night stay gets too expensive as the cleaning fee is high. Spread over more nights makes this a real bargain.

Llama stay! Yea!!

This place was so cool and if you’re into trying new things, outside your comfort zone, it is right up your alley. I’m 63, and single, visited son and family in nearby Berthoud and was able to have my own space, as they work from home. Only about 2 miles from every store you can imagine, but a very quiet county place. It’s small, and comfortable very clean and affordable. Lots of great pics. I wanted to live there!!❤️

My fiance and I along with our dog had an exceptional experience staying at Spooky Tooth Ranch. We both had our highest sleep scores ever our first night staying which might be due to our 13 hour drive but also to the comfort of the place. Great Country Stay

We had a great time. Accommodations were perfect and as advertised. We enjoyed spending some time with and feeding the llamas. Especially our 3 year old! Having chickens around was great too. We'll definitely be back to Spooky Tooth!
