Come visit our bright and sunny cottage just 37 minutes from Grand Rapids, MI. WiFi via SpectrumTV. Fresh paint and brand new furnishings throughout. Chain of 5 all sports lakes perfect for fishing and kayaking. Large screened-in porch with comfy L-shaped couch for family game time or starting that book you've been meaning to read. You will love the giant deck overlooking the lake. The kitchen is adequately appointed with a coffee maker and a wine opener. The beach area allows a comfortable place to relax and a shallow beach entry with a sandy bottom. The air conditioner will keep you cool when you are done soaking up the sun. Short stay in October

Our visit was too late in the season to take advantage of all the location has to offer, but we still enjoyed the quiet and the lake view. Close to Greenville and Grand Rapids for restaurants and hikes.

Relaxing Oasis

It was the perfect way to decompress and relax away from it all. The lake is beautiful, clean and calming. We loved having the fire pit on the beach. You're close to the neighbors but you hardly notice, it's still feels very private and quiet. The screened porch and outdoor porch were amazing. Just loved everything about it!

Perfect Place to Get Away

My wife and I had a great stay here. The little cabin is small, yes, but that is one of the things we liked about it. It was quite cozy. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the sun porch and out on the deck. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook and eat meals...well, except food. But it is only a 10 minute drive into town where you'll find Meijer, restaurants, and STARBUCKS! Rachel was a great host. She was very quick to respond to any questions we had and she checked on us halfway through the week to see if we needed anything. The place was very clean. The WiFi worked great. All-in-all, we had a great time!

Get away

I was looking something about 4 hours from home, that was secluded, beach, lake view for the boys to play. It was close to town but hidden away from people. It was perfect for us. Much needed family time. Attractions close by to do with family as well

Very Quiet And Relaxing

Loved the deck overlooking the lake. It really makes the whole property in my opinion. I was back and forth to the cottage all week, but was always happy to be “home” at the end of the day.

Cottage was great, comfortable, nice beach. the only drawback is the 31 stairs going down to the cottage. fishing was great! really enjoyed this cottage and the weather was beautiful.

July 4th Getaway

My family really enjoyed our stay. The lake was great for my 6-year-old. The house is on the small side, but is nicely stocked and furnished, and plenty big enough for our group. Rachel was a great host. She answered every question I had very promptly and made it a point to tell us about the fireworks schedule for the lakes and about area activities that my family might enjoy. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Pretty place with very thoughtful manager

A very comfortable cottage. We used the sun porch for some of our supplies so we would have a little more room inside. The lake views were beautiful and on clear mornings the night sky and moon were spectacular. Also really nice to have shelves and space to put things out in the bathroom. Loved the plank floor in the main living area. Very enjoyable week. Thank you

Decent Stay

House was a little smaller than pictures let on. Being over 6 foot is a liability considering ceiling fan will knock you out. Bed was a little rough. All was worth it though for the view and surrounding attractions

Nice Getaway

This property was adorable and great for kayaking! The stairs down to the property were a little challenging when unpacking and packing. The chain of lakes was a bonus and we enjoyed wading in the lake next to the dock. Even though, we only used the beach firepit, I could see where it is convenient to use the one closer to the cottage.

Best getaway ever

I booked a little family getaway very last minute and could not have asked for better accommodations! The host was so accommodating and communicative to make for the simplest check in. The place was beautiful. It is adorable and it was spotless. The host had thought of lots of little details including a coloring book for my toddler and a water safe ball for my dog. I could not have asked for anything more! I will be coming back.

Great for small family

We stayed the weekend at the “Sugar Shack” on Woodbeck Lake this past week. The cabin was clean and everything we could have wanted or needed was provided. We rented Kayaks and paddled the many connected lakes on both sides of the cabin. Rachel is an excellent host and was very responsive when we had questions!

A Good Distraction

The house was lovely and had everything we needed. The deck was our favorite place especially in the evening. During the day, we loved sitting on the beach shore watching lake life. The host answered all of questions and even made a few good suggestions. Thanks.
