Awesome Friend Getaway!

This property was perfect for a girls weekend! The cottage was clean and adorably decorated. The location was perfect as it was only 8-10 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t take full advantage of the outdoors, but would be a great place for a family or friends to walk around and enjoy all the amenities. Such a relaxing and peaceful property! Would definitely return in the future!

Weekend Getaway

The cabin/property was really nice. It was away from the traffic of Brown County, so that was a plus. Everything looked as if it had been recently rennovated. I could stay there again for sure.

Girls Weekend

Overall, property is beautiful and close to Nashville. Cute decor. We arrived at night and there were no outside lights on and the large rocky path was difficult to walk on in, especially in the dark. Some hooks on the backs of doors would be great to hand up bath towels. The hot tub was amazing. Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed our time there.

Local getaway

This was a fantastic cottage. Clean and updated and private. It was located directly off the road so some road noise was present but it wasn’t bad at all. It was a great location to all of the area activities. We live only an hour away but we felt like we had traveled much further! Highly recommend.

Spring Break 2024

We had a wonderful stay at the Cottage. The place was just as we had expected and the pictures were not at all deceiving regarding the size of the rooms. We all said the sheets were some of the softest we had ever slept in and continued to say we would gladly book here again. The location was perfect and the amenities made it even better. Great stay!

Quiet little cottage get away.

The cottage was small and cozy. Quiet evenings at the fire pit or hot tub. Overall a great little place. The only comment I have is that light be available to get from parking to cottage. No light at back porch or in parking area. Came home after dark one evening and had to use phone light to get to back door.

Secluded getaway with beautiful scenery!

Very cute cottage with a lot of property behind and beside it with loads of trees and birds. We even saw deer two different times in back section! About a 10 minute scenic drive into quaint Nashville.

This property was exactly as described and exactly what we needed for a few nights away. Close to Nashville but far enough out that we got the quiet and peace desired. Would love to stay again next time we are in the area.

Clean, beautiful, convenient location!

The house was clean and well prepared with everything we needed, and the hot tub was ready to go on arrival. The view of the tub, woods, and little bridge across the private section of creek is absolutely stunning in the morning light. The road is close but not too busy, and the porch swing is a nice place to have your morning tea or coffee as we did. Overall very clean and cozy location. My only reservations were in how little space to prep food there was - not everyone looks to cook big meals on a weekend getaway, but it was a big part of our plans! We made due but it would have been nice to have more realistic expectations of the kitchen workspace. The Hot Tub also had a slight bee problem - we tried to redirect them by putting out sugar water but they were just in love with the hot tub vapor. Thats a difficult issue to solve without harming the bees (which we'd never want to happen), so it's just something to take note of. Luckily the little cottage cools down quickly as the sub sets in the evenings thanks to the high ground on all sides, so the bees turned in long before we did. Overall we had MANY more "wow, thats nicer than expected"/from what we could tell from the photos type moments than the few little unexpected slight inconveniences. We knew within minutes of entering we want to stay here again some day, and would recommend the place in a heartbeat. The rental company was prompt and polite at every step and that was the cherry on top!

Great little getaway

Though the cabin was small, it had everything we needed. Everything was very clean upon check-in, so that’s always welcoming. Hot tub was fantastic! Our daughter loved the creek. It would have been nice if the lights put back worked as it was VERY dark. Secluded enough yet close to everything.

Cute updated cabin in the woods

Very cute, updated cabin close to Nashville / easy drive to Bloomington. Cons- At night it would have been nice to have lights outback. The water from shower was colder than we prefer. Cabin was closer to the road than I was expecting. Pros - minimal road noise heard inside. The kitchenette was stocked well, comfy furniture, thankful for TV and internet as it was rainy in the evenings and unable to be outside. Hot tub was a huge perk. Will come back but plan for earlier in the fall!

Charming and restful

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back. The little cottage cabin was in a great location - out of the way but not far from town. It was decorated perfectly which made us feel at home. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hot tub and outdoor areas were the cherry on top. Our only complaint was that the shower was only lukewarm which wasn’t the most comfortable for our personal taste but was canceled out with how wonderful everything else was.

Secluded and Fall Pretty

Cabin was very clean. Thea area was fairly quiet for being on a road, with a secluded feel, yet close to activities in Nashville. Nature was calming and the changing of the leaves made it that much more enjoyable to sit outside at the fire pit or in the hot tub.
