Welcome to our South Park Cottage! Dove Hollow is beautifully renovated (central AC & heat, w/ NEST thermostat) & tastefully furnished. We love to travel, and have filled the cottage with thoughtful details to make your experience exceptional! Luxury Linens and quality bedding, Samsung Smart TV in living room with DVD player, premium channels, high speed Wi-Fi access (Cox Gigablast). Kitchen is fully stocked, features granite counters, and new appliances including DCS Professional range/oven & CARAWAY pans. Enjoy Nespresso coffee, or opt for Chemex, press pot or drip. Dining table seats four, patio dining table seats four. Gorgeous teak hardwood floors, designer carpet in bedrooms. Both bedroom have comfortable queen size bed, COURANT charging pads, ceiling fans & closets have California Closet organizers. Portable Harmon-Kardon speaker to sync with your mobile device. Guests enjoy a Pergola covered patio, with new custom BBQ island, featuring granite slab counter, deluxe BBQ grill, refrigerator & stainless sink. Patio has a dining table to seat six, plus comfortable side chairs. The mature gardens are very special, and designed to attract birds and butterflies.

French/ Coastal style garden cottage
This very well kept, wonderfully decorated and appointed cottage is nestled in a beautifully kept garden within a neighborhood. There are great dining options and food markets within walking distance. It is an easy 15/20 min drive to so many local SD attractions. The host/ owner was very responsive with questions and after check in needs. This home has an amazing patio with a vine covered trelliss. We grilled out there each nite and had coffee out there each morning. Everything was perfect…only drawback is the home is on the landing path for planes…a little noisy but planes end before going to bed. Beds are super comfortable and had a good nights sleep each night! Recommend this home for a long weekend stay to see the sites of SD!

A Little Shangri-La for Us All
We were so amazed by the sweet cottage that awaited us when we arrived -- it was a warm summer night and our arrival was late but the path was beautifully lit, accompanied by the tinkling of the fountain. We had a lovely few days staying at the cottage and enjoyed that the kids could play outside unencumbered but safe in their own small imaginative paradise. Our only confusion was that the listing says that there is a pool and there is no pool attached to this property rental. However, the fire pit, outdoor kitchen, beautiful patio lights, and thoughtful decor and equipment provisions made me text half-a-dozen people I know and recommend that their next trip in San Diego includes a stay at this spot. We hope to be back soon!

Excellent stay
Five stars on everything from me. The cottage is super clean and comfy with everything we needed for an amazing stay. The property is quiet and conveniently located near stores and restaurants within walking distance. Also, Balboa Park is just a few blocks away. Elizabeth was very responsive but even though she lives on the property we never knew she was there, so it felt like we had the whole property to ourselves. Heat and A/C work perfectly. Kitchen has everything. Washer and Dryer work great. Landscaping on the property is gorgeous, really making it a wonderful place to be. Will definitely look here first when we return to San Diego, hope it will be available!

A perfect balance
We were really impressed with our accommodations. This cottage is in the perfect part of town. We were able to use our rental car whenever we wanted and often Uber'd downtown for some fun. Beautiful and quiet place. It was really an amazing week. We will be back!

It has everything
The property is as advertised but better. The owners really tried to think of everything to make ones stay comfortable. Some examples in the kitchen like spices, olive oil, zip lock bags and aluminum foil. Dispensers in the shower, extra blankets and the outside patio area is great. The grill area works perfectly. Her recommendations on places to shop and eat proximate to the cottage were equally as good.

We loved staying at this house while visiting family for the holidays. The bedding was comfy, the bathrooms had everything we needed, the kitchen was stocked and best of all, the place was decorated for Christmas! We were so happy staying here. Highly recommended!

Our daughter and her fiancé live right up the street. We loved being so close to them and walking everywhere in South Park. Beautiful and comfortable cottage with access to bars and restaurants. Great, quiet courtyard with such nice landscaping. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful quiet cottage!

Quaint, charming, beautiful cottage with so many special touches…. most comfortable beds we have ever slept in, soft sheets, air conditioning, fully stocked kitchen and lots of extras!! April Stay at Dove Hollow
We really enjoyed our stay at Dove Hollow for a long weekend! The vibe was cozy, clean, and relaxing. The property is beautiful, well maintained and thoughtfully stocked with nice linens, towels, toiletries, coffee, etc. Kitchen appliances and utensils were top quality. The outdoor kitchen was perfect for grilling steaks and eating al fresco. We had no problems whatsoever. South Park is an ideal location – so close to Balboa Park! We would stay there again. Exceptional Property
We felt like we wanted fur nothing at this charming, well appointed South Park cottage. Tastefully decorated and high end furnishings, linens etc. Well stocked kitchen. Responsive hostess who also provided a list of recommended local restaurants upon request. The neighbourhood feels quaint, quiet and charming. Outdoor space is very well done as well.

Delightful Small Home
We traveled to San Diego after Christmas. The house was on the expensive side for one family (over 400/night) but we booked late and not much else was available. I was surprised at how well the small floor plan fit us. We brought a camping mattress for the floor so our large children (10, 12) would not have to share a bed. We loved the neighborhood! I removed all the breakable tchotkes immediately and placed them in a safe area behind the couch so we could relax.

Nearly perfect
Elizabeth is the most awesome virtual host you could hope for. She was responsive, helpful, and delightful in answering our calls or texts. The cottage itself is just delightful. Note that like so many properties in the San Diego area, there is some noise from aircraft landing at or departing from the airport. Our ONLY "not quite perfect" comment is that while the cottage is decorated exquisitely, it is OVER-decorated; there is something on top of virtually every horizontal surface, and there is (in our opinion) just too much furniture. For example, there's a bookcase in the bedroom closest to the street that is simply in the way. And there are THREE tables in the other bedroom. And the huge couch in the living room, along with the ottoman, etc. One just feels that one has to "scoot by" when going from one part of this quaint and small cottage to another. But it was beautiful, inside and out. The yard (through which you access the cottage) is lush and greeted us with an aroma of jasmine from the plants. So, with the exception of our feeling it was over-decorated and a bit over-furnised, FIVE STARS ALL AROUND FOR THE PLACE AND ELIZABETH!
