About this property

Vintage Villa near Downtown

The Vintage Villa is a one bedroom one bath guest near biking distance to downtown and walking distance to the historic Duck Pond neighborhood. It is 500 square feet with vaulted ceilings, a full kitchen, and a private court yard. We've decorated the space with mid century furniture and decor. We hope you enjoy it!!

The vintage villas is an apartment that was a detached garage/art studio in a previous life. There is a 3 bedroom house on the lot as well.

Guests may park one car on the left side of the driveway. Ellen, our co-host who lives next door to the Villa will park on the right side of the driveway. Please pull all the way up and close to the Villa. This will leave room for both cars to get in and out. You are welcome to have more then one car. Please park the second car behind your first car

There is a private courtyard for guests as well.

Guests are free to text, call, or email us if they have issues, concerns, questions, or needs. We live 5 minutes away and the co-host lives in the 3 bedroom house on the same lot. Her name is Ellen and she is happy to help as well.

The neighborhood is walking distance to downtown and the historic duckpond neighborhood. In 2019 the city will begin building a park across the street. We are looking forward to this as an additional benefit of staying at the vintage villas.

This space is great for biking to local events.

Misleading
We were scheduled to be in this property for a few days as we were under mandatory evacuation orders. We were taken aback as the vintage cottage. The house on the same property was vacant and had garbage and lumber in the front yard. The neighborhood was in the same state of disrepair. The 'courtyard' really was a SMALL patch of pseudo grass at the back door. I had reached out to the host several times before our checkin date and received no response whatsoever. We opted to lose the money we had paid for the rental and move to a different vrbo. We did not feel safe at all in the cottage. I will cross this one off the list for any return visit.
