Family escape

Amazing Place in the country

Lovely Weekend Getaway

This was our second time staying at this adorable cottage. This visit we wandered into West Jefferson and absolutely loved that town. The primary bed is super comfortable and this time we got to enjoy a fire in the wood burning stove. Can't wait to visit again.

Restful trip

Restful stay. Loved the cabin. Beautiful yard. The only problem was the refrigerator was quite dirty, leftover food in the microwave, and the bath towels and washcloths had a sour smell. May I suggest white towels so you can bleach them. Will bring my own towels in the future.

We loved this little house

We loved the remote location and the quietness but not too far from the grocery store. It was clean and cozy. Will definitely stay again in the future!

Get away

The little house was absolutely adorable. Great place for small family. Pet friendly and close to a lot of attractions. We will definitely be back. The property manager was great.

Very convenient cabin for Fussel Estate wedding

Hey Steve three nights for my cousin's wedding at the cabin with my dog, 5-year-old son, partner, mother, and cousin. There was plenty of space for us, and it's extremely convenient to get down to Fussell estates.

Cute house

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very neatly done and had everything we needed, lots of dishes to prepare food and a keurig. We enjoyed the back deck and grill probably the most. Our dog enjoyed the property, exploring around the pond! Would definitely come back and recommend. Thanks so much!

Fabulous visit

I enjoyed my relaxing stay in the cabin. I enjoyed a leisurely morning with breakfast prepared in the full kitchen— no need to rush out to a restaurant. Our dog appreciated running and exploring and sniffing anything that stayed still. The property owner was very responsive when we had a small problem. I highly recommend a visit.

Mountain Getaway

My kids and I had a wonderful outdoors adventure weekend in this little farmhouse. It was quaint, comfortable, and with just the right amenities. Our dog loved it too. We’d come back for sure. Edward picked up every time I called and talked me through the directions when I got lost. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Home Sweet Home

My hubby hates staying away from home. We had been at the site less than an hour, and he had said "I love this!", no less than 20 times! He said he wanted to live in a house just like this one. We loved the decor, the modern conveniences, and the amenities. Our Yorkies enjoyed running in the back yard and chasing the frogs at the pond😂 Harder to please than my hubby, is our 18 year old daughter. We are attending a conference in the fall, in Marion. Guess where she wants to stay?!! It will be almost a two hour drive, but we have already booked it. 😀

Cutest little place EVER

This place is absolutely adorable inside and out! We loved our stay here. Relatively simple accomodations with some very nice upgrades, like a super comfy bed and the gorgeous stone shower. I highly recommend for anyone looking for peaceful place to stay in the area.

Anniversary gift for daughter and husband

Anniversary gift for daughter and son-in-law. It was a great trip and so relaxing. They loved using the outdoor grill and such nice indoor appliances. Indoor area was comfortable with nice decor. Close to small towns with plenty of shops and interesting places to eat. Perfect gift that allowed them to have complete privacy and get the rest they both needed. The owner came by and introduced himself, very polite but was not intrusive. It is only 90 minutes from their home and the perfect place for a quick get away. They hope to return soon.

Quiet retreat

This farmhouse was artistically decorated and fully functional. All the attention to decor was appreciated. The shower was wonderful, lots of water pressure and lots of hot water. The farmhouse is in a very pastoral setting with cows a field over and a pond out the back deck. We enjoyed our stay very much and would not hesitate to recommend this place to friends.
