The Roaring Creek Mountain Home is a wonderful mountain retreat that's conveniently located just seven minutes away from Interstate 40. Nestled in the heart of lush forests, the home offers a serene creek that provides plenty of shade and tranquility. The drive up to the home is easy, and you'll find a variety of great food and shopping options in nearby Historical Downtown Waynesville, which is only ten minutes away.

You can relax on the comfortable furniture of the covered porch, listening to the soothing sounds of the creek and watching the sun peeking through the trees. If you need to de-stress further, you can turn on the deck lights and soak in the hot tub. The creek is also perfect for a cozy fire pit gathering or a peaceful moment of reflection.

Inside the home, you'll find all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Each of the three bedrooms is equipped with a 55-inch Smart TV with Internet, while the living room features a 65-inch Smart TV. The master bedroom comes with a king bed, while the other two bedrooms have queen beds. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary appliances and utensils.

If you feel like exploring, you can visit the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, or the Biltmore Estate and Winery in Asheville, all within 30 minutes of the Roaring Creek Mountain Home. For some outdoor adventure, you can go water rafting or tubing, or visit the nearby Cataloochee Ski Area and Cataloochee Valley, which offer stunning views of the surrounding wildlife and historic buildings. And if you're in the mood for some entertainment, the Harrah's Casino in Cherokee hosts live music events and offers a relaxing spa and delicious dining options.

Please note that for the safety and protection of our property and our guests, there is a security camera facing near the front and rear entry doors and one located by the garage. However, there are no cameras on the inside of the home or facing the hot tub area.

Lovely Mountain Getaway
Carl was a fantastic host and thought of everything. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedroom and living room furniture were super comfy. The hot tub provided much welcome relief foe our tired and sore legs after hiking in the National Park. Sitting by the creek was also a fantastic way to relax. I highly recommend this property. It offers you easy access to the National Park and the Blue Ridge mountains while still providing a quiet secluded place to relax.

Wonderful stay in the mountains
What a beautiful property in an even more beautiful setting. We needed a quiet get away with activities close by and this was the perfect place for that. We enjoyed the fireplace and the outdoor hot tub. Downtown Waynesville was close by and there were so many great restaurants and coffee shops to choose from. Carl was great to work with and really put a lot of care into making sure all of the details were taken care of. We also loved how close the Blue Ridge Parkway was!

I have made many trips in the last 6 years to the smoky mountains and this was hands down the best cabin! If you like out of the way and peaceful this is for you. There is a creek running through the property with a nice sitting are next to it to relax. It was very clean and well stocked with everything you need! The master bed was so super comfortable! This is the only place im staying from now on!

Amazing Mountain Home
This home was perfect for our family vacation. It was even better in person than in the pictures. We enjoyed relaxing by the creek, making s’mores over the fire pit, and just wandering around outside looking at the flowers to include succulents growing by the wall. The hot tub was very comfortable with all of the seating choices, water features and speakers. The inside of the home was beautiful—-very tastefully decorated. The home even included so many unexpected surprises like a fantastic puzzle, well stocked kitchen, ample supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, and toiletries (which smelled incredible). The location was ideal for our adventures which included fly fishing in Maggie Valley, paddle boarding at Lake Junaluska, shopping in Waynesville, and tubing in Cherokee. It was simply amazing and I highly recommend this home. It was my favorite rental so far!!’

A little piece of heaven
We just got back from our trip to Carl’s house on the creek. No stay could ever be long enough. The creek was so peaceful and we loved hanging out one one of the many comfy outdoor spaces. I made time every day to sit outside and read. My kids loved playing in the creek, making s’mores and taking a dip in the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we could need to make great meals. The house is very comfortable and clean. We would stay here again in the future.

The perfect place for relaxation!
Carl, the host, started our booking by answering all & any questions. He was very detailed about everything. Check in and out was super easy. The home was so clean & comfortable, plenty of room for 6 adults. Our long weekend consisted lounging in the hot tub, sitting by the fire pit at the creek or just sitting on the porch enjoying the creek. This home is fully stocked! We cooked almost everyday & had everything in the kitchen we needed to prepare & enjoy our meals. This is our new favorite place, only wish we could have stayed longer!

I selected this property because of its location to Cataloochee Ski Lodge and that Carl was quick to respond to the questions I had before booking. Once arrived the property was even more than we could all hoped for. The amenities were great. The hot tub was our favorite and the house was just perfect for a great weekend spent with friends! Plus the creek is perfect for pictures and there are Christmas tree farms all around! Highly recommend this property!!
