This is a great cabin by the creek. with a nice little waterfall. Wonderful to listen to on the back deck.
Had fun sitting in the hot tub by the creek in the snow.
Enjoyed the convenience of Gatlinburg a few miles away.
Fun little ski lodge for the weekend. [Ober]
Highly recommended.
Pros: The cabin is in a quiet area right next to a beautiful stream. Please note it is at least a 15-minute drive to just about everything. The living room and bedrooms provided enough space for our group to spread out and relax. The interior decor and beds were comfortable. The hot tub was a nice addition. However, we had concerns about its cleanliness, given the lack of attention to cleaning throughout the cabin.
Cons:
Unfortunately, our stay was affected by some significant hygiene issues. We encountered cockroaches and mouse droppings specifically in the kitchen, which was both unsettling and unsanitary. We promptly reported the infestation to Parkside Cabin Rental, but their response left much to be desired. While they addressed some of the concerns by placing roach bait, they seemed indifferent to the gravity of the situation. Moreover, there was a noticeable lack of apology for the inconvenience, and the warming drawer and under the stove area, where mouse droppings were never got cleaned. The cooking and kitchen items were in need of serious updating. The pots, pans, and utensils were showing signs of wear and tear, making meal prep difficult. Having only three coffee mugs was particularly disappointing, as this meant we had to take turns enjoying our morning coffee. The bath towels urgently need replacement. They were rough and failed to absorb water effectively. While the cabin showed promise, there were too many issues and we were very disappointed.

over priced junky cabins
not one carpenter bee came in the front door. you can hear them all night in the walls. they have bored through the walls and come in as they like. normally when your in bed. VRBO charges an additional $200+ that they don't tell you about in the balance statement. the dinning area floor looks like a Bear tried to barrow through it. the furniture looks good till you sit on it. then you realize you've sunk all the way to the floor and need help getting up. our beds were so squeaky they kept us up all night. the A/C does nothing for the up stairs. but there is a box fan in the closet, but it was still fairly cool during our stay, can't imagine what it'll be like in the summer. I'll never use VRBO again. don't use these sites. there are better cabins that don't use outside sales Co. to steal your hard earned money. the people @ park side cabins were awesome. that's were it ends. after that your dealing with VRBO. over all I call place Cabin in the ghetto. just not the appealing mtn cabin your looking for.
The cabin itself and surrounding creek were good but it was a little further away from downtown Gatlinburg than we would have liked. Description says 8 miles but the drive is 20 minutes. May want to say 20 min drive instead on the description. The staff during check in were amazing!
The property was the perfect fit for our family. The kids had so much fun at the creek and in the game room down the walkway. I look forward to returning.
