This is a rustic rural retreat set on five acres of oak woodland with a grassy meadow and peekaboo views of Mt. Adams and Mt. Hood. It offers 1/2 mile of mowed walking paths through the woodland with reflectors on trees for evening strolls. Its small pond attracts an array of wildlife: birds, turkeys, and deer. Pets are welcome, but they must be leashed outside at all times.
This home is modeled after a log cabin which gives it the rustic feel. The main level has an entry room for sporting goods storage. The kitchen is off the living room and has the essentials to make a meal at home. The living room and dining room are an open concept with plenty of natural lighting from the windows. The stone fireplace adds an extra flare to the ambiance. Off of the living room is a hideaway space which can be used for studying, napping, working, or mediation.
The second level has two bedrooms and a full-sized bathroom. The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the other bedroom has twin-sized bunk beds. The foyer has a cozy couch and projector for a movie night.
