A great location
We have stayed here before and loved the property. Just steps to the ocean and so many conveniences, make this area a great place to stay. We had to call locksmith to get in deadbolt when code didn't work. There were no batteries in the lock. The place is more worn than it was previously. Still we had fun and enjoyed our stay.

Great Location - Nicely Furnished
Unit nicely furnished - great location - Maintenace Issues - sleeper sofa is broken - sofa very uncomfortable -screens on door torn - shower master bath slippery -1 person slipped and felll - 2nd person slipped - grill not usable - faucet in MB tub cold water side leaks - we were a group of 6 and only had 4 bath towels

Overall good place to stay. Great access to the beach. Very close to Shunk Gulley and shops! We have stayed in Santa Rosa several times— one of the better condos. Areas needing improvements: couch pullout is broken, Queen bed is badly worn out on one end and needs replaced. Back door screen is ripped. Internet in guest bedroom drops connection often making it hard to watch TV. Overall would stay here again!

Overall the location and unit was good. The beach was crowded due to the limited space available for Gulf Place. The unit had some issues: Peeling paint, broken sofa bed, table, and screens on back door. I did like the location in regards to places to eat and things to do. The beach and water was beautiful and I like that their were lifeguards there.

Location Location
The check in process was easy. The interior is beautifully appointed but couch needs replaced. The price point was a bit high considering the lack of things like basic supplies, salt, pepper, etc. We had trouble with the TV and remote - several days of communication with management with the promise of a remote that functioned and correct log in credentials plus a no show maintenance person finally resulted in maintenance and my husband resorting to a work around. But never a new remote. Bring ALL your paper and kitchen products, laundry and dish soap products, garbage can liners and such as there are no extras. The kitchen is fairly well appointed in terms of utensils and cooking items. Neighborhood is quiet. Could never find the hot tubs or other working pool despite asking management other than the one nearest the unit which was always crowded. Ad offers free golf and dolphin cruise - upon inquiring and sending pic of ad, we were given a link and it wasn’t as free as the ad stated. Also odd that there is no hospitality manual in the unit. Beds were comfortable though one bed had no mattresses protector.

Spring Break for 2 families
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is fantastic! Beach, shops and restaurants are all very walkable!! The pictures accurately represent the unit. As previous renters stated, the frying pan does need to be upgraded. The large one in the kitchen is not usable. For the price point of the rental, you should expect better. We also had issues with the AC unit. It cooled fine, however it did need to be serviced as it froze up and then thawed and was leaking into the main bathroom shower and toilet room. This is likely an ongoing issue. The property manager was extremely quick to respond when we called and they had someone out there within an hour to take a look at it. We did inquire about beach chairs and there are 2, but they are in rough shape. Recommend bringing and/or renting some to use while you are there. There are 3 boogy boards and a few sand toys for the beach. Great to have a grill, but you need a lighter to get it going. Bring all of your spices and seasonings for cooking. We left salt and pepper. Overall, I would recommend this property as it had a good amount of space for 4 adults and 4 kids, and the location was fantastic.

Very new cozy feel, walking distance to beach and shops!
My kids enjoyed the bunk beds and their own privacy on the top floor. The place had a very new feel and safe surroundings. Very close to beach and shops, will definitely be staying again.

We a little nervous about booking this property because it had no reviews. We had walked by these townhouses on a prior visit so we knew we liked the area. We are so glad we decided to take the chance. The pictures are very accurate. The place was clean inside although the outside areas- screened in patio needs a good cleaning. The kitchen is well stocked but no extras like salt, pepper, spices. The frying pans need replacing but everything else was good. The furniture was pretty comfy- except for a couch which probably should be replaced . The beds were very comfy. We did have an issue with the furnace/air conditioner. The repair guy got it to work but it still was a challenge regulating the temperature between floors. Overall we enjoyed our visit the area is quiet and a short walk to the beach. We will definitely come back to the Gulf Place area again.
