Very disappointed with this property. There was a whole host of issues upon check in, including: Microwave did not work upon arrival, the garage was absolutely filthy, the umbrella on the back patio was not working - we had to shove a diaper we found in the condo into the opening so that we could somewhat rig an umbrella for sun coverage, there was a constant leak on the back patio, the closet rod in the guest bedroom was broken, some of the pillows were dirty and there were pillowcases and sheets with holes in them, 3 kitchen table chairs had broken legs, there were broken shutters throughout the condo, 9 lightbulbs were burned out, and the picture on the VRBO website of the "pond" behind the house was a complete misrepresentation of what it actually looks like. It was puddle of disgusting mud. While I realize this is out of the owners control, the picture should have been updated to represent what the view is. In talking to multiple neighbors, they said it has been a gross mess for over a year .
We stay in multiple VRBO’s each year and have never had such issues with a property. We brought these issues to the attention to the property manager, who fixed the items above that he could. There was no reason that it took us as renters to bring this to the attention of the property manager - this should have been fixed prior to check in. It is very apparent the owners do not have any pride in this condo.
