Charming is the perfect word

I moved to Las Cruces and while I was waiting for my TX house to sell, so I could buy here, I was able to rent this great place. Easy walk to Nessa's and Enriques. Everything about this place was delightful. There is a train that comes by and woke me up at first, but I got used to it.

Perfect For a month

The Cozy Casita is well maintained and close to downtown Las Cruses. The washer and drier was a huge plus for staying here for a month. The outdoor space was fantastic, we spent most afternoons outside. There is a nice covered part, a fence to block the wind, and a grill we used several times. The king sized bed was super comfy.

Our stay in the Cozy Casita

The accommodations were perfect. The house was clean, warm, very comfortable and very cozy. The kitchen was well equipped, making it easy to prepare our own meals and the walk in closet provided a place for everything. We especially enjoyed the variety of DVDs as well as the books on the bookshelf. Everything was perfect for our stay! We look forward to a return visit

Beautiful home

Larger and nicer than the photos indicate. Lots of storage. Comfortable bed. Well-stocked kitchen. Spotless interior. Heater worked great on those cold mornings. Everything is up-to-date and the art and decor are very much New Mexico casita. Always nice to have a washer/dryer available. Downside is that it is not quiet. There are barking dogs in the neighborhood throughout the day. They are quiet at night. Unfortunately, the train is not as courteous. It runs through the night and blows its whistle loudly every time it goes by. The casita is very close to the tracks. If you're sensitive to noise, this is not the place for you. Even if you're not, I recommend bringing earplugs for sleeping.

Excellent location, clean, comfortable, charming.

The host made the check-in and out very simple. The casita is spotless, equipped with everything you might need, the bed is very comfortable, all mechanicals and decor are up to date without losing the feel of a New Mexico Casita. The artwork throughout is eclectic and fun. It is close to major throughways to out of town hiking and close to the downtown and Farmer's Market (not to be missed on Saturday mornings). It is perfect for one person or a couple. The outdoor area is private and would be lovely in warm weather.

Adobe Casita

Nice little casita for 2 people. It has just about everything you would need for a stay there-bed and linens are comfortable, nice kitchen and bathroom, washer/dryer. Nancy is easy to work with.

The most fun you can have without wi-fi

The Casita made a great home base for the week my wife and I spent visiting her mother. Nancy made checking in very easy even though we arrived late after a long drive. The fully-equipped kitchen saved us from spending money on eating out. The king-sized bed was comfortable. The true refrigerated air kept the house cool without raising humidity. The bedroom ceiling fan had a remote so that we adjust the speed without getting out of bed. We enjoyed many meals on the private covered patio. The neighborhood was quiet, but close to the train tracks and there were some barking dogs next door. The dishwasher and laundry facilities worked great. The bathroom was clean and functional. The drawbacks were that my wife thought the bathtub shower was slippery and there was a bedside lamp that didn't work. The biggest drawback was that the house does not have wi-fi and when I tried using my phone as a hot spot we found that the cell signals weren't good either so we had to spend a week without fast internet.

Nice casita near downtown

A casita with a well stocked kitchen and walking distance to downtown Las Cruces, including Bite of Belgium! Has everything you need for an extended stay. Also enjoyed the singing cats that would come around once in awhile. Overall a good experience and would recommend.

This was home away from home.

This property was very clean and located in a quiet neighborhood that was an easy walk to downtown. The kitchen is well equipped with relatively new appliances and plenty of pots, pans, and utensils. A huge walk in closet was great for clothing storage during a long stay. And, the bed was very comfortable. Additionally, the laundry facility worked well. Nancy, the property manager, always answered texts or calls in a timely fashion. We highly recommend this property.

Small Rental Casita with the Feel of Home

We spent a month in the Adobe Casita and used it as our base to travel around New Mexico. Everything we needed was available - from a super comfortable king bed to a large well stocked bathroom to a full kitchen. We used the gas grill several times, as well as the newer high end washer and dryer. My husband enjoyed all of the TV stations available and I enjoyed the high speed internet. The enclosed back yard was great to sit and read or to swing and watch the birds. Overall, we were very impressed with this rental.

Wonderful

This place is exactly as described-charming, clean, and cozy. I really appreciated how comfortable the master bedroom (only one we used) is from the decorations to the mattress to the high quality sheets and blankets to how dark it is for sleeping. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the tools I needed to cook meals and store the left overs. A funny thing about the kitchen-the lights have skylights over them. I thought I was going crazy because I couldn’t figure out how to turn the kitchen lights off the first day we left the house. Because I can’t leave a room without flipping the lights off I was freaking out just a little. I finally texted Nancy and we got it figured out. I didn’t realize skylights produce that much light. The water pressure is almost too good, if that’s possible. I loved the carport which will be extra nice in the summer. So much thought was put into every little detail here and the results are great. I love all the art work, lamps, flowers and furniture. Because it was winter we didn’t spend time in the back yard, which is just as charming as the rest of the house. I will definitely stay here again when I am back in Las Cruces to visit my dad, who happens to live one block away.

Cute Casita

After a small scare about our reservation being lost (everything was worked out), my husband and I had a great time staying here. Having a full kitchen and laundry was great to have. The house is centrally located and we could get anywhere is about 15 minutes. We tried a lot of the local restaurants that were recommended in the information book and weren't disappointed in any of them.
