Large 4 season porch with expansive view of lake. Inside has been completely renovated with new flooring, coffee bar, new appliances. Game room in finished basement has foosball, darts, tiki toss, and board games. Twin bunk beds downstairs for kids. Queen futon in living area.

Wonderful Home

This house was fabulous! I have mobility issues. There are not many stairs except to the basement, which I didn’t see. My children loved the basement. The main part of the house was flat. The sunroom where the table & a sitting area is wonderful. My mother & I would sit out there before everyone else was up & look at the water & read. My son really enjoyed kayaking. He did that about twice a day. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was nice. The sitting area was great. We watched movies a couple of nights. The house was not far from are other family who were staying on Mousam. It was also to where we like to pick blueberries. The house is beautifully decorated. I hope we can stay here the next time we go to Maine. Thank you for sharing your home with my family.

Nice stay

We were generally happy with the stay at this Mousam Lake property - I grew up in Acton and it's a convenient location, pretty comfortable, very quiet during the week. It was well stocked and it's always nice to find sharp knives and good pots and pans to cook with at a vacation rental. All in all we enjoyed our stay. Thanks Jocelyn!

The cutest little lake house ever!!!

This property is the cutest! The pictures don’t even do it justice. Everything was super clean and beautifully decorated! The teenagers had a ball downstairs with all of the games and the double bunk beds. They provided anything and everything you could need. But the best part was the back yard with that view! I only wish we could have spent more time.

Amazing cottage in the woods on a Lake

How does this sound? This is a very clean, updated, and well-kept property on a quiet cove. The cottage was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals and enjoy lake life, including kayaks and a paddle board. We used all of these items and fished from the pier daily. We really enjoyed having our morning coffee and our dinners on the enclosed porch overlooking the lake. The owners were easy to communicate with and answered all questions we had. The property is about a 15-minute drive to town, but it is secluded enough for a nice rest and reprive. We highly recommend this property for a nice lake getaway.

Wonderful lakeside retreat!

We had the most relaxing stay in this beautiful cottage. They had thought of everything and it was so clean and welcoming. Being right on the lake and having kayaks to use was such a treat! I cannot recommend more highly!

Great lake cottage

Very comfortable cottage with a great view of the lake. They have a nice dock that i tied my boat up on. Backyard has all the amenities you could want.

Nice getaway

We stayed for a week and had a blast there. We did get some fishing in from the dock. But had an overall good time there. Would definitely recommend or stay again if we go to that area again.

Great relaxing stay

We had a great time staying for the weekend. The lake was beautiful and the location was quiet and peaceful. We had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. A couple of notes for the future, it'd be nice to have a towel rack in the bathroom and more non-plastic glasses. Also more bakeware would be helpful.

Quiet and serene escape

The cottage is wonderfully furnished, with comfortable seating, great views of the lake, a very workable and clean kitchen and virtually every amenity you might have forgotten to bring. Great attention to detail, and a serene location to enjoy fall leaves changing colors.

Beautiful Home, Amazing Location

We needed a place to stay for the weekend while visiting family locally and found this absolute gem! We loved the room overlooking the lake - perfect for sipping our morning coffee. The kids loved the downstairs bedroom with the bunk beds, TV and games and even a soft drink stocked mini fridge! The grown-ups also loved that the kids had their own space! The kitchen and coffee/wine bar were wonderful and the other bedrooms warm and cozy (even though the morning temps outside were in the 30s). The property was wonderful all around and far exceeded all of our expectations - it was hard to leave to go to our family visits! We hope to visit again someday for a longer stretch so we can take advantage of all it has to offer!

The perfect getaway

Top notch, very clean, excellently equipped with everything you might need. Easy access to lake, not too far from stores, etc but still feels like in-the-woods. Very quiet and fairly private. Booked another stay before leaving!

Great spot!

We loved this home on a little cove of lower Moussam. Spend days kayaking and fishing. House was nice and updated. Basement is great for the kids! Back porch overlooking the lake was great. Highly recommend. We'll be back.

Family trip to Mousam Lake

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. It is very clean and had everything we needed. The cove it's located on is very quiet with very friendly neighbors. The kayaks and paddleboard that were provided got lots of use. Keep in mind that the local restaurants are closed on Mondays. However, there is a Hannaford's grocery store about 15 minutes away. Most importantly, the host is very responsive and answered any questions we had very quickly. We would highly recommend this property especially if you're looking for a peaceful vacation.
