About this property

Scenic Maupin Tiny House - 12 miles from Deschutes River

Come to our cute Maupin solar tiny house located on a working farm 12 miles from Maupin and the Deschutes River - raft, fly fish, or bike. In the winter months, head over to Mt. Hood- just 35 minutes away. The house is located on a farm with a beautiful view of Mt. Hood. The home is part of the three house group on the property. Wake up in the morning to a wildlife menagerie - deer, wild turkeys, etc. End the day with a spectacular Mt. Hood sunset and a campfire. (If allowed)

One queen bed on the main floor and a floor mattress in the loft makes this the perfect space or a small family. Sorry, 8-year-olds and older allowed upstairs.

Cute cabin but has issues

The day of arriving to the cabin was told they were having soler panel issues, they knew this in advance because the outs in the cabin had tape over them which wasn't new. They had an extension cord running next to the shower and out the window so anyone taking a shower could possibly be electrocuted by touching it, and it definitely did meet code. I was bitten up by bugs in the cabin because there are gaps in all the windows, either from electrical cords running into the windows or by badly installed widows that have 1/2 inch gaps between the panes. I liked the farm setting but the cabin needs improvements.
