In the large natural garden grow olive trees, orange and lemon trees. The large terrace with bougainvillea and oleander invites you to relax. Enjoy spectacular views across the Gulf of Messinia from Kalamata to Koroni and the Mani. The region is quiet, without package tourism.

Im Winter untauglich...

Der Bungalow wurde ausdrücklich als "beheizbar" im Winter beschrieben. Die Heizklimaanlage funktionierte nach einem Abend nicht mehr und ich musste mir mit Heizlüftern behelfen. Die Vermieterin äußerte hierzu "man könne keinen nordeuropäisschen Standart erwarten" . Auch das beschriebene W-LAN war nicht vorhanden, obwohl es in der Beschreibung angekündigt war. Es gab hier von der Vermieterin kein entgegenkommen im Preis für die Unannehmlichkeiten und das fehlende W-Lan mit der Begründung, dass die Heizkosten durch die Heizlüfter enorm steigen würden.Bei nachts 7 Grad Kälte eine Zumutung, wenn man noch ein schlechtes Gewissen eingeredet bekommt hohe Stromkosten zu erzeugen.Einzig die schöne Aussicht kann über den Ärger nicht wirklich hinweghelfen....Nie Wieder...

Traumhäuschen mit Aussicht

Wir haben 10 wunderschöne Tage in der einfach und liebevoll gestaltete Hälfte des kleinen Doppelbungalows verbracht. Toll war die Klimaanlage, da es extrem heiß war.Terasse hat sich stark aufgeheizt, sodass wir sie tagsüber nicht genutzt haben, dafür die Außendusche und den schönen Blick auf die Mani sehr genossen, gute Fischgerichte in derTaverne Sokrates in Chrani gegessen... Für eine Abkühlung ist der Dorfstrand von Chrani ok, schönere gibt es in südlicher Richtung. Die abendlichen, zunächst gruselig anmutenden Heulkonzerte in den Hügeln der Umgebung haben sich als die Rufe von Schakalen herausgestellt und uns dann nicht mehr gestört, die Nachbarn in "Carsten" und die Nächte waren ansonsten sehr ruhig. Super Ausgangslage für vielfältige Unternehmungen... sehr nett auch die Mappe mit den Infos und Ausflugstipps und das tolle Buch über Messene, das unseren Ausflug dorthin zu einem unserer Peloponnes-Highlights gemacht hat! ;-) Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Chrani sehr genossen und können das Apartment "Jana" nur weiterempfehlen - Danke, Frau Kähler!

Relaxing

Very nice stay and so relaxing. Just a small disappointment with instructions as how to reach the property and with state of the access road. Otherwise everything was great.

Absolute paradise

All the photos and videos don’t fully depict how actually amazing the place is. The view from the terrace, the rooms, the neighbourhood, the beautiful road down to the beach and - most importantly- the outdoors shower with a view of the bay- this is exactly what I was searching for and it surely exceeded my expectations. The bungalow is well equipped, has all the things you need, the beds are very comfortable and the air-con (essential in July) works flawlessly. I felt at home there instantly. Beate, the owner, responds immediately, is the kindest landlady you can imagine. I hope to meet her one day. The house manager Alexandra was most helpful and resourceful, giving us plenty of tips and helping out with car rentals, small repairs etc. She also welcomed us with ice cold drink which was life saving after the journey there :) The nearby beach and bar, a family run business was friendly and relaxed, in my opinion one of the best beaches in the area, not too busy and chilled. The village has a supermarket and a few restaurants with inexpensive Greek cuisine, usually family run and extremely friendly. I fully recommend the bungalow to everyone who is looking for peace and quiet of the countryside with spectacular views and a beach holiday. Thank you so much and hope to see you again! Magda
