This property and the owners were fabulous! We highly recommend. It was beautiful, clean, stocked with everything you need, and the owners let you use the kayaks, floats, football, corn hole, and other recreational items. Outstanding! Our family had the best time!

Great little spot!

The property, house, and lake are beautiful. We had some friends over for dinner and the house was stocked with all the tools necessary to cook a meal. The kids had a blast swimming in the lake.

Wonderful place for family getaway!

My teenage son and I stayed for 4 nights for his14th birthday, bc he loves to fish. It did not disappoint! The location was spectacularly gorgeous. The apartment/chalet was incredibly clean and comfy. They did a beautiful job of stocking the kitchen with everything you need. The unit is just like the pictures. Be aware that you have to go up stairs to get to it (and if your dog is like ours, they might be scared to use the stairs:)). One great surprise: There were kayaks and canoes available to use! The owners were there for the first part and they were super friendly and sweet. We had never been to this area of WA. We loved exploring Sinlahekin and Conconully Lake, which are both very close. We hope to come back again!

Everything you need to relax

This is a wonderful property for relaxing. They thought of everything to make sure your stay is perfect. Clear communication, spotless home and grounds with easy check out. They want you to enjoy yourself and not stress about anything. We had a great time and even picked up kayaking for the first time. We will be coming back again.

We loved the house, the lake and the area!

This property made for a really nice, quiet end-of-summer getaway for our family! The house is new, clean, well-furnished, and comfortable. The lake is nice for swimming and boating. I even caught a big bass! We want to come back next summer.

Awesome lake stay!

This is an awesome lake house for a family getaway. Perfect place for relaxation, and water fun! The house is super clean, well appointed, and the deck space is huge and a perfect place to hang out in the evening. The grounds around the house are perfect for boating, Paddleboarding and relaxing by the lake. Hard to find a more tranquil and peaceful lake setting, and Tom was an excellent host, very accommodating and super fast response! We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful facility

Great place to stay! Easy access to get into the place with codes provided. Very secure. CLEAN. Great OPEN space, yet private bedrooms. Had everything we needed. Wonderful open space, large, well-outfitted kitchen, the deck is huge with a bbq and large table/chairs. Peaceful. Super fire pit by the lake edge. Kayaks, canoe available. Everything about the place was positive. Loved it!!! Will certainly look to come again.

Great Place to Stay

The hosts were friendly and super responsive, and property was great. The chalet is clean and comfortable, and well appointed. The welcome treats were a nice touch, and the deck was an amazing place for morning coffee and relaxing in the early evening. We'll definitely be back.

The owner was great to work with. It was our first time in this area and we will be going back. The place had everything we needed and even extra's. The view is more than just the water, bring binoculars the hillside across the water had wildlife which was so fun to watch from the deck. I would definitely recommend, it was well worth it!

About the host

Hosted by TOM BOMAR

Host profile image
Tom & Tina, Randy & Amy, and Tom & Amy all former firefighter families purchased this 2 acre, former RV Resort property to gather with friends and family. Ourselves, family and friends may be found enjoying the open spaces from our own RV's during your stay.
Full-time living for each of us is in Western Washington. The addition of the chalet allows opportunities for us to enjoy the Okanogan area year round.

Why they chose this property

Being on a lakefront is always awesome. This property stood out because of it's many years use as a former commercial RV Resort. The amenities of the properties former life made this a turnkey recreational paradise. Tom being the avid fishermen, Randy enjoying the fall hunting, and that other Tom takes advantage of the many trails and service roads to adventure out on a motorcycle. All of these activities are just out the front door or within minutes from the property.
Since we purchased this property only in 2018, there are many more area adventures and activities close by for us to explore (after our fingers are pruned from playing in the lake).

What makes this property unique

The 230 of water front isn't bad, but unique happens when you add in the various activities of being a former resort. Space available should you have a larger group,
or want to utilize kayaks, row boats, paddle boards, paddle boat, fire pits, picnic tables and dock. The chalet offers access to all of these existing amenities just 200 feet from the entrance and is available for year round fun in the Okanogan.
