We had the absolute best stay- from start to finish! The moment you walked in the door and up the stairs was…. stunning…. what a view, literally picture perfect! The house was so clean and beautifully decorated- very warm and cozy! We met the neighbor down by the water and he was incredibly nice- he gave us the names of some local favorite places to eat. We had such a wonderful stay and are hoping to book again next year! The pictures online don’t do this house justice- it’s so beautiful!!!! We woke up each morning to the same 3 deer in the yard- so charming! Highly recommend!!! Thank you for having us!
Beautiful home with a lot of windows and stunning views of Moosehead Lake. The home was fully equipped with everything you could need and even included a hot tub, ping pong table, fire pit and yard games. We enjoyed the gourmet kitchen and watching the sunset from the deck. Perfect vacation spot.
The house is absolutely beautiful & clean! The view stunning. We had 6 adults and 2 children(age 4 & 9) and the size was perfect. The main living area is on the top floor- bedrooms on the main floor off the entrance foyer. Basement houses laundry and access door to hot tub. The host is extremely responsive and respectful of privacy. We rented a pontoon boat for the week and docked it at the house. The only issue is the walk to the dock/lake is quite steep. It's a long path down. We had a senior who could not navigate it safely. The Beaver Cove Marina 1/2 mile away were so kind and let pick up those who could not navigate the steep walk up or down to the lake. We were there first week of September - the weather was gorgeous. It must be absolutely amazing in the fall and winter! Book it you won't be sorry.
Fantastic stay. Wonderful, cozy home with all the amenities. We got to watch the eclipse on the shores of frozen Moosehead Lake a short walk from the house. Once in a lifetime experience! Thank you!
We were searching for a spot for a quick winter escape. Cozy but spacious, modern but warm -- this was exactly what we were looking for.
As soon as you walk up the grand stairs, the dramatic view of the lake and mountains greet you. The large stone gas fireplace and high-end kitchen create a large space for family entertaining.
We couldn't have asked for more -- excellent in every way.
The house was amazing. The kitchen was perfect from well stocked everything to the gas range to access to the large porch with a big grill. The fireplace was great to sit by at night, the sofa comfy, and the large kitchen table to eat at with a view of the lake that is second to none. The beds were clean and comfy and the bathrooms were nice. We have stayed at many places around the Beaver Cove/Greenville area over the last 10 years and this is one of the best. The hosts were everything you would want. They are respectful, responsive, helpful, and truly want you to love what they love about the area. We would love to come back and stay here again.
Beaver cover was the perfect oasis for our family. The house had everything we needed down to kids flatware and kids dining table. The path to the lake is winding and a little steep for our in laws, but doable. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the hike to the lake, the fairy houses along the way and the rocky beach. The owner was responsive to all our needs throughout the stay. Thank you!
This property offers so much for anyone! Adventurers, family gatherings, or just a bit of peace and quiet! We enjoyed out stay as a family. The home was clean and well equipped! Note there is a pull out bed and single bed in the basement! We do wish we had known this, as we would have had another family member (couple) stay with us! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the quick response times with the owner.
This house was very clean and well stocked. Beautiful view of the lake from the deck. Short hike down to the lake to use the kayaks. Owner was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!!
Had a wonderful stay, communication with a Christina was quick and easy, house is close to the water, with a little trek down a small path, plenty of bedrooms, and lots of entertainment in the house for kids if you have children…we will definitely be back as we enjoyed our stay and had a blast up in the Moosehead Lake area. The house is super nice as well. Bedrooms are on the first main floor and the kitchen and tv/sitting room are upstairs where the super view of the lake is. Thanks for a great stay!
We had the best stay here! We felt cozy and at home from the moment we walked through the door. The views were impressive and the night sky was awe inspiring (we recommend turning off the lights on a clear night and stargazing on the back deck!).
The kitchen and bathrooms were well appointed and had more amenities than we expected. Lots of towels (including beach towels), linens and blankets, and misc toiletries and supplies that serve well if we had forgotten something.
Plenty of fun board games, yard games, life jackets in every size, sidewalk chalk, kids books, and a cute doll house our kids enjoyed with the dolls they brought.
Hot tub was great and had simple instructions on how to use/care. The lake access is short, hilly, walk through the woods. The host gave us info for two alternative public lake front beaches if we wanted something more accessible but we loved the calm and privacy of the property’s lake access. Soft and pebbley, perfect for wading in or hanging on the dock. We enjoyed the multiple kayaks (double and single) that were already down there just note to grab paddles from the garage.
We have no negatives for this property, it’s been one of our favorite places we’ve stayed. If we were to note one thing, its that the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the first floor so something to be aware of especially if you have early rising, heavy footed toddlers like we did.
We love our stay here and the hosts were exceptional!
This was our first trip to Maine and the property did not disappoint. The views were gorgeous. The surrounding area was quiet and serene. The house had every accommodation that you would need. Extremely relaxing.
We did vacation with our extended family, some of whom have some physical limitations and therefore were not able to enjoy the lake because it was a hike to get to it. Additionally, there are no bathrooms on the main floor. This was not a deal breaker for us. We would come back in a heartbeat but just wanted other renters to be aware.
We enjoyed a lovely week at this cozy lake home. Convenient location near Greenville, yet private enough to feel alone in the woods. Kitchen is well stocked with tools and supplies and we enjoyed dinner together in the evenings in all three dining locations in the house (inside, outside, and screen porch). It was an exceptionally hot and humid week so it was warm without AC but the many fans and breeze off the lake made it comfortable. Waterfront was lovely and we enjoyed many hours in the lake swimming and kayaking. Overall a lovely week in a well appointed home.
Property was wonderful, cozy with great views of the lake. Home was well appointed with everything you would want while on vacation including appliances, dishes, utensils and even a fully stocked spice cabinet, games for the kids…..and adults. We spent ten nights and would definately return.
We had a great New Years weekend at this property with our family. Beautiful home, great location, and we loved the hot tub too! Would definitely stay here again.
