Palm Tree Retreat is a beautiful, luxurious condo in Tupelo Bay Golf Villas located off of Highway 17 Business and 20 minutes south of Myrtle Beach airport. A quick golf cart ride to the Garden City-Surfside Beach line. Surfside Beach is a great location where you are close to the entertainment in Myrtle Beach and restaurants in the “Seafood Capital of South Carolina,” Murrells Inlet. Tupelo Bay is set back from Highway 17 with every pond having a fountain so you cannot hear any traffic.

The condo is entered on the 2nd level but unpacking your car will be a breeze with the provided luggage carts stored at every building under the stairs and an elevator to get you straight to our door. Upon entering enjoy the open floor plan complete with kitchen, living room, and dining room. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, utensils and cookware to use during your stay. Outdoor grilling tools and a lighter are supplied in one of the kitchen drawers should you choose to cook at Tupelo Bay’s gourmet outdoor cookout area (bring your own charcoal). Three high top chairs are located at the bar area in the kitchen and the dining room has seating for six. The living room has a 55” Smart TV, love seat, chair, and a pull-out sofa to offer additional sleeping accommodations for 2 guests. At the back of the condo is the Sunroom, which overlooks a pond with fountain, furnished with a couch, chair, desk with chair if a little work needs to be done on vacation. Perfect for a quiet place to sit and drink your morning coffee or catch up on your favorite book!

The master bedroom located at the back of the condo offers a king size bed, seating area, mounted 38” TV, large walk-in closet, and private bathroom with double sinks and shower. Two bedrooms are located at the front of the condo. The room to your right offers a king size bed with a 32" smart TV and large closet space. The bedroom to the left has a queen size bed, also with a 32" smart TV and large closet space. Down the hall from the king bedroom is a full bath and past the bathroom is a laundry room with washer and dryer.

For the golfer, you will have access to Tupelo Bay Executive Golf Course, Myrtle's best driving range and only lighted executive course! Tupelo Bay also offers the areas only 9 hole “pitch and putt” Par 3 course along with Foot Golf, a game of skill and fun where Golf meets Soccer. If you want to sample some of the top 100 public courses, this is the spot to be. Only 20 minutes to the south is Pawleys Island and 15 minutes to the north are all the great courses on Highway 501.

Wonderful Weekend Away

This place is beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The property manager was quick to respond and very accommodating. Even after our stay ended and our daughter realized she left something of great sentimental value, they went above and beyond to locate it for us. We can not say enough good things. So thankful!!!

Family Vacation

Condo and all of its amenities was top notch. Shuttle driver was Amazing and so friendly. Wasn't crazy about the very slow elevator or the walking distance to the pool in the heat.

We would stay again

Overall the condo was nice and we would stay again. We appreciated that the kitchen had nice pots/pans, knives, and alot of tupperware. Beds were mostly comfortable (they all had a nice pillow topper). We also enjoyed the pools and gym at Tupelo Bay. The beach chairs and umbrella were so so, all the chairs were low to the ground and weren't accessible to those with mobility challenges getting up/down. Proper manager did a great job communicating and keeping us informed with all the details.

Golf Trip

We had 4 college friends for a golf trip. Everything was great from location to check in, and everything in between. We could not have asked for more. The condo was well supplied with essentials to start our stay and was very comfortable and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful unit, great location.

Unit was beautifully decorated and was in a great location. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. Lots of amenities including outdoor and indoor pools, beach shuttles and BBQ area. We will be back again next year.

Perfect stay!

Big enough for a group of 3 large men and wives to comfortably sit and talk together in living space, and dine together in the dining room. Clean, spacious, comfortable. Will look to use same place again next trip to MB.

Outstanding Home at Tupelo Bay Villas! We have been travelling for 10+ years, renting vacation homes along the way. This is hands down the best vacation home we’ve been in. All of the little touches, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful amenities, the beds were so comfortable, you could certainly see the pride of ownership. The property manager was very responsive with clear concise communication. We would highly recommend this vacation home. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would.

Simply Lovely

This property is very spacious, very welcoming, and well-thought out. The kitchen had everything we needed - we even made cookies! This was the first place we’ve stayed where they had nightlights in the bathrooms and in the hallways! Thank goodness! Nothing worse than being in a new place and having to find the bathroom in the dark in the middle of the night. The location is close to Brookgreen Gardens, a grocery store, and lots of dining options. It’s was a great place to get away!

Palm Tree Retreat—Amazing

We had the most enjoyable stay at the Palm Tree Retreat. The condo is spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the owners add so many perks (coffee pods, soaps, dish detergent, light switches are labeled, fully stocked kitchen, etc.); the pictures do not do this place justice! We enjoyed putt-putt, the indoor and the outdoor pool, and walks around the beautiful grounds. I have told so many people how wonderful the condo is and how it’s conveniently located! We are looking forward to a return trip soon!

We LOVED Palm Tree Retreat!

I visit my daughter and her family once a year and look for a property big enough to hold three adults and two children. It is always a little uneasy to do this sight unseen. Even with photos, you wonder if the place still looks the way it did when the photos were taken. If anything, Palm Tree Retreat looked even better. It was spotless, beautifully furnished, spacious and the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. We used the great gym, outdoor and indoor pools and the wonderful golf facilities The putt putt golf and ice cream parlor at the entrance were fun, too. Jennifer, the rental agent seemed more like a friend than a business relationship, and we were even pleased with the people on site we encountered who are home owners. Speaking of which, the owners of Palm Tree Retreat equipped the unit so beautifully, my daughter was actually reduced to tears with how organized everything was. She said, "Dad, I've been trying to set things up at home like this for years!" We will definitely go back. Go and enjoy!
