Art filled German Village House. Double lot fenced in yard with 2 car garage
You will absolutely fall in love with German Village. For those that have never been, it will knock your socks off. Our brick house is in fantastic location for easy access to all this 19th century village has to offer. Our location is also great for events downtown and the university district. The 2 car garage, which can be a rarity in the village makes a stay headache free:) Our brick house sits on a large double lot (another rarity in-the village). The garden is completely fenced in. Inside, the house has 2 private bedrooms and a third connecting room that sits in between the two bedrooms with a day bed for an additional 5th guest. The dining room has Heywood Wakefield furniture and a great MCM vibe. There’s a full kitchen, plenty of comfy seating in the living room and 1.5 baths.

Manager of the VRBO is wonderful in communication. I felt comfortable before walking in the door. House is beautiful. considernewflooring in living room.
We had a great stay in German Village. The property was in a great location and was very walkable to just about every thing. We enjoyed the Book loft, Lindey’s and several local coffee shops. The house was the perfect size for 2-4 adults and the garage was an added bonus.
The house is within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The two car garage was a plus for parking in the city. Check in directions were easy to follow.
Little piece of heaven in the best part of Columbus
First of all Allison was super accommodating and sweet. She got us a food care package to take care of breakfast because we were arriving in the middle of the night. The house is spectacular and is in the heart of the German Village. Her communication is above and beyond.
It’s very clean, the king bed was perfect and super comfortable. Best part was the yard where our dog had a blast. We saw bunnies in the yard. When we come back I will pray this place is available because I don’t want to stay anywhere else!
Just beautiful! We were so comfortable… the house is close to all the German village has to offer and not a far drive to OSU. We had dinner at Lindy’s, watched OSU game at club185 and had morning coffee at The sycamore… all walking distance from the house. We also enjoyed lounging in the beautiful backyard. We look forward to returning to this lovely property!!
Everything was absolutely perfect. The house was so beautiful and felt like home. We will definitely be renting in the future. It felt good to feel like we were at home when going to Columbus for my mother's cancer treatments. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!
We came to Columbus to visit family. The home was clean and located in a great area. Yard and home was nice. Beds comfy. The 2 car garage was a life saver. Hard to find off street parking in the area. My big GMC truck fit in the garage! And car fit in driveway at an angle. Would definitely stay there again. Allison was a great host.
Came to Columbus to visit son. Location in German Village is close to shops and restaurants and easy drive into downtown. Home has everything you need and dog friendly so our son was able to visit with his pups too.
Wow! We stayed for two nights at this lovely home and enjoyed every moment. The house is situtated in a super safe and quiet part of German Town in downtown Columbus. The area is so charming and there are so many neat places that are walkable from this home. The yard is so neat and spacious, and our dog and kids loved running around. The house is decorated in a beautifully eclectic style--you could spend hours looking at all the cool artwork in the home. The beds are so, so comfortable, as is the other furniture in the home. Despite looking like a museum in the best way, the whole place feels super homey and comfy. All parts of the home, inside and out, were clean and neat. We didn't have time to really use the kitchen, but the owner took a small space and made it super usable and well-appointed. We would've loved to stay longer and enjoy the comfy house and great city. If you are looking for a safe, lovely, unique place to stay in Columbus for a few nights or even a long stay, this is the one to book!
Four of us went away for a short weekend to celebrate a career milestone. We saw the Book Loft, had coffee locally, walked to the park, strolled through the farmer’s market, and ordered dinner in. We enjoyed the space to relax, do a puzzle, and enjoy time together. Plenty of space in the four beds provided. Clean and great location with private garage.
Clean comfortable pet friendly I gave this property four stars for cleanliness because one of my dogs found a lightbulb on the floor and chewed it so the property could use a little more attention to detail on the cleaning side
Loved the house! And loved the yard! Don’t think twice, book this house. Alison was amazing, helpful and kind!
Loved having a garage, and being so close to things in the area.
We plan to come back!
What a big surprise to find this lovely house full of art and antiques that provided ample room for our family to spend the week while participating in Summer Nationals in downtown Columbus. Close to the Convention Center but feeling miles away from the city, we enjoyed barbecues in the large fenced in backyard, breakfast under the covered patio, and walks through the lovely village. Our host, Allison, was communicative and helpful. From restaurant recommendations, to immediately bringing over a hot spot when the WiFi went down, she checked in periodically to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I can't say enough about this property and German Village in general. What a gem in the middle of a mid-western city. Highly recommend!!
The house was in a great area and was super cute. The check-in process was very easy with clear instructions. The house was very clean. Would definitely book again.
Plenty of bath towels but only one wash cloth for the three of us and only one t-towel in the kitchen. No regular spoons only big spoons. Otherwise everything was great.
This home was spot on with the German Village vibe. Walking distance to a bunch of cool spots. Home was delightful and reasonably priced. King size bed is always nice when traveling. Would book again.
My friends and I really enjoyed our weekend stay here. It is in the heart of German Village and so close to great restaurants. The house itself was clean and well kept. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard in the sun.
