Forget the world in this relaxing, private oasis right on the river. Bring your entire crew and unwind from the daily grind. Enjoy a sauna and a plunge in the river, or a game of pool. Nantahala has no cell service, but we have satellite wifi, the most amazing piece of heaven anyone could ask for. The river forms a horse-shoe shape around the cabin making you feel like you’re surrounded by nature. Plenty of room for cookouts and children to play with the pasture land across the river. Nothing like a firepit right on the water! Please be advised satellite internet is very basic. It is not a house meant for streaming movies.

Amazing location with lots of outdoor activities. The host responds really fast to all questions and is always available. Love the place and overall a great experience
The cabin was clean and spacious. The large kitchen was great for our group to cook and socialize. The river and land scaping of the property is beautiful. One night we built a fire in the fire pit and roasted marshmallows and made smores. We all had a great time at this beautiful location.
This property was perfect for our group of 7. Just a short drive to whitewater rafting in Bryson City, huge open kitchen for meals, and a great outdoor area for grilling/fires. The beds were even comfortable! My favorite part was the creek that wrapped around the house. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a private spot where you can entertain a small group. Cell phones do not get reception so plan to unplug for your stay. The host was very responsive when I had questions. Would definitely stay again.
It's called a cabin because of its location, but this is more of a house in terms of all it offers. I stayed here on a solo trip to capture footage of the fall foliage and just scratched the surface of enjoying all of the amenities. It has a billiard room, a sauna, and one of the largest kitchens I have seen. The house could easily accommodate 8+ guests, but it does also have its cozy aspects. The property is situated between 2 mountain ridges and is only about a mile from the Tellico Gap. The flowing creek can be heard throughout the property - even inside the house when it's quiet. Like most places in this area, there is no cell service, so plan to unplug. Satellite internet gives you just enough of the outside world if you choose. In addition to the mountains, there are many rivers and lakes in the area, and plenty of hikes.
This place is a gem located on Otter Creek. Our family enjoyed cooking and socializing in the spacious kitchen and sunroom, sitting by the fire pit making smores, the grandbabies playing their hearts out in the creek tubing, splashing and skipping rocks.
There was a very nice yard out back for badminton and kickball game.
We enjoyed celebrating our grandsons birthday party.
The four bedrooms are big and spacious too.
A great place for a family fun filled vacation spot!!
Thank you so much James!!!

Unequipped and not clean
The oven was disgusting. The pilot light did not work. The kitchen did not have basic utensils, i.e., mixing bowls, measuring cups, measuring spoons, blender, mixer, large cutting board, serving dishes (bowls, platter). There are no lamps in any of the bedrooms. Do not sit in the Adirondack chairs-very cheaply made & fragile. TV in family room extremely small. Game room with larger TV has no place to sit. No shampoo, bath soap, charcoal - make sure you bring your own.
The property is beautiful and the beds were comfortable.
We stayed here while we were in the area for a wedding. The house was huge, easily accommodating 4 adults and 5 children. The property was beautiful with a creek in the backyard. The owner was very responsive to any messages sent. We would definitely stay here again!
Great location great property only problem was needs more living room seating for bigger families and pilot light on the stove. The Wi-if wouldn’t play the tv. Overall good experience would recommend to anyone!
This property was an excellent family getaway for the 7 of us. It was spacious, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. The men and 16 yr old loved the pool/rec room, and we sat by the fire pit, roasted hotdogs, made smores and listened to the babbling otter creek. There was time for guitar playing and singing, and just good clean fun while creating memories with our family. Very pleasant experience. Thank you!
