I enjoyed my stay at this vrbo. It was clean, comfortable, safe and very convenient. The owner had several items in fridge and pantry to round out any cooking or snacks you may need. Beds are comfortable
Very nice home, easy to access, we stayed for a work trip, but would love to return for a vacation.
booked again before leaving for our next work trip in 2 weeks.
We had a great time. It was our second time staying here and we are going back 3 more times in the next 6 weeks for our kids dirt bike races that are held in the local area. Thanks to the host!
This was our 3rd stay at the property and it was awesome as usual. Nice weather, great views, quiet, etc. Going back 2 more times in May. Thanks to Dan & Melissa!
We had a little trouble with the access code but the host was easy to get a hold of had it reprogrammed within minutes. Very clean, and comfortable beds. The kitchen had everything we could think of. Would definitely recommend staying here.
This home was spacious, clean, and well located to several Nevada State Parks. While close to the highway, the road noise was minimal in the living area and non-existent in the bedrooms. Great views from the front porch!
We came up for our Grandson's dirt bike race and decided to try a rental instead of towing our trailers up there. It worked out great. Saved gas, great views, stores near by, etc. We are going to come back in June and hopefully the house is available then. Great time.
We came out to see the dark sky (excellent but a little cloudy while we were there). We also hung out in the house, which was super comfortable, and also went out for some hiking (check out Cathedral Gorge, which is spectacular).
The house is very well-equipped and worked perfectly for us. We mostly cooked and ate in the house, though we did have one good lunch at the Silver Cafe in town. The restaurant options in town are limited.
Pioche is a very interesting old mining town, and the mountain scenery around the house is gorgeous. We played board games on the giant table in the living room, which was perfect. We brought our games, but there are a few options already in the house.
I would definitely stay in this lovely home again.
Rented this property 3 times this fall for our hunt. Worked out perfect, very clean and convenient, just what we needed. Only thing I heard from any of our group was all good except for the lack of a TV. Owners were great to work with on a couple of minor requests.
Highly recommend
Great property, second time renting it. Clean and modern.
Just what we wanted

Pioche property
This spacious home was clean, well stocked, and nicely located to numerous Nevada State Parks. While close to the highway, road noise was minimal in the front living area and non-existent in the bedrooms. Beautiful views from the front porch.

About the host
Hosted by Melissa and Dan
We're excited to welcome you to our cozy mountain home here in Pioche! We are active part-time locals, rehabilitating the old movie theater in town, the Gem Theater. We volunteer for various local causes and are thrilled to welcome guests to our home to experience the beauty, history and culture of Pioche and Lincoln County. When we're not hard at work, we love to waste time at our home we lovingly call Vista Grande, enjoying the mountain views, four seasons, and wildlife. We welcome you to our home to do the same!
Why they chose this property
Pioche is our mountain get-away to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life for cooler temps and easy living. We love to sit on the porch with our morning coffee and watch the deer mosey out front and the clouds forming on the horizon as gentle storms dance through the skies of our mile-high town. We're off the Main drag so that you can retreat in private from the nightlife scene, yet close enough to serve as an easy launch pad to area State Parks and cultural attractions.
What makes this property unique
The mountain views and location just off the beaten path are truly what drew us to this home. We love the interior finishes and enjoyed decorating and furnishing the house for all to enjoy.
