River Front Cottage

Very nice place to stay right on the river. Bait shop/launch site is pretty much right around the corner. Property manager was very helpful and responsive to my questions I had. Will love to stay here again in the future.

Quiet and Relaxing

Just the perfect spot for two people to kick back and relax for however long they want. Incredibly affordable price to be right on the water and if you have any small personal boats to bring like kayaks or canoes, it makes it so easy to use them. All in all a very relaxing stay.

Location, location, location

Location of this property is perfect for those wishing to fish the Wolf River and catch some Walleye or Whitebass action. Beautiful yard with firepit and deck with riverview. Dock fishing for whitebass was excellent and fishing boat rental next door with bait and tackle was very convenient. Price was reasonable for acommodations.

Nice little home on the river

Went there to do some kayaking on the river and nearby lakes. Was easy to get kayaks to the dock. The dock is about 24 to 30 inches above the waterline so watch a YouTube video or 2 on how to properly get into a Kayak from a dock. The home was clean and cool with the window AC unit. Temps were in the upper 80s that week so was a blessing to have. There is an adequate supply of pots and pans in decent shape if you want to cook. Overall it was a great stay. Looking forward to a potential repeat stay in 2024.

Served its purpose!

There were a few things that could have been cleaned better (someones toothbrush and hair tie left in shower, dishes needing to be washed before using them, trash from the last guests left on patio table), the air conditioning installation left crevices for lots of bugs to come in. The cabin is old so there were some cosmetic issues but all in all it was comfy, affordable, and in a great location.

Cute, cozy river cottage

This is a cozy, affordable river cottage. The pictures match the property well. We enjoyed that there was a portable AC unit in the kitchen and a fan as well, this helped kill some of the humidity in the air. The owner communicates very well. It would be great if there were more chairs around the fire pit, but we just used the ones from the patio and put them back. We had an enjoyable stay for 2 adults.

The apartment was outdated but worked for two guys wanting to get away and fish for the weekend. The area is very nice and everyone around the area were very nice.

We enjoyed our stay and had no major issues with anything. Everything went smoothly. While yes it is an older cottage we could tell improvements are being made and we were comfortable. We loved to be able to park our boat right on the river and be able to walk to the restaurant to get Pizza. More TV/movie options could be a nice addition. We would go back. Thank you!

Nice and Cozy place to stay

The cabin was nice and clean. Nice spot to get away from everything and chill on the lake. Very secluded and nice people all around the area. Also, Cathy was very nice. I forgot something in the cabin and she shipped it over with no questions asked. Amazing property with an amazing owner.

Bare bones cabin

I decided to take a gamble on this cabin as I didn't have much time to find another with good reviews. Although the river was beautiful note it's a very bare bones and did not have alot of the amenities i was used to when I rent on VRBO. There wasn't AC in this cabin which was my fault for not seeing that in the listing. Unfortunately we went during a very hot time of the month. The area surrounding had some flooding as we went during during a stormy weekend. Alot of updating is needed as we kept finding random holes in the cabin, there was no light outside to sit and enjoy the river at night, and the couches had rips. The cabin was only used to sleep in as it was too hot to stay in there during the day.
