Architects House in Yucca Valley
We created this house for you to enjoy the desert life style in a peaceful old town. Hear owls hoot and birds chirp. Watch lizards and iguanas crawl and bunnies hop by. Gaze stars in the dark. Dine with your family and rest for the day. Let the space speak to you and heal you.
We have plenty of books and toys to entertain the young guests, a complete kitchen for the chef in charge and long lines of cabinets for your extended stay. We are here to help make your stay memorable and comfortable.
Designed and remodeled by us in 2022. This desert house features authentic modern designer furnishings throughout the indoor/outdoor living space.
We have a dedicated desk and fast wifi for those looking to work remotely.
The master bedroom has a king bed with a Design Within Reach Firm mattress, and an ensuite bathroom with Rudys toiletries.
The other bedroom has 2 twin beds with 5 Little Monkeys mattresses, and has lots of children's books.
TV room has a 75" LG TV with Netflix, Amazon, and Apple TV. There are lots of children's toys, and boardgames.

We are a designer/architect couple with two young children. We created this space with a help of in-house little hands and local pros’ big hands. We love the dynamic weather, serene atmosphere and the kind and generous residents of high desert.
Why they chose this property
This house is located in an extremely quiet and peaceful neighborhood of old town Yucca Valley with views of mountains and open skies and is only minutes away to the shops, restaurants and other amenities.
Black Rock Canyon Trail head is within 10m driving distance and Western Entrance of the Joshua Tree National Park is within 20m.
The house is fully equipped for cooking and entertainments as well as comfortable sleeping and gorgeous outdoor experiences. It is suitable for families with young children, digital nomads and visitors of the Park

You will enjoy the ample amount of natural light, high ceilings, built in cabinets, designer furniture from Design Within Reach and others, Alessi kitchen products, Bosch appliances, Moccamaster coffee maker, Dyson hair dryer, Rudy’s bath products, art/design books, children’s books, board games and abundant genuine artworks. The house is lit with beautiful lighting fixtures from Artemide, Flos, Kartell and Modern Fan Co.
