Spacious apartment , great location , attentive hostess
Elegant large apartment , high ceilings large kitchen . Very comfortable for our party of three generations , seven of us . Bernadett , our host was very attentive to our needs . I would rent again .
We had a wonderful stay and were just a couple blocks away from our friends who live in Bueno Aires. We were within walking distance to Disco (grocery store) and there are many more shops about 10-15 minutes away by foot. The apartment was on the third floor but there is an elevator. We felt very safe as there is a locked entry and cameras in the lobby. We had no issues at all. There were two TVs in the home which the kids appreciated so they were able to login into Netflix to watch movies. The kitchen and dining room are large and enabled us to cook meals at home which made it easier traveling as a family. Also as Argentinians eat very late compared to Americans we found it more convenient to eat around 5-6PM our normal time as some days we had to get up early to catch a plane to Mendoza or a ferry to Uraguay. Also, we used Ubers to get around and everything was very close or just a 15 minute ride which cost about $3USD. So I would say the location is ideal if you are looking to stay in a more quiet neighborhood with your family or friends. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The water was always nice and hot and we had no problems of any kind.
My wife & I stayed in Bernadette's apartment, along with our 4 kids, for 4-5 days. We loved it! It's in a great location there on Av. Paraná (between Paraguay & Marcelo Torcuato de Alvear). All of the bedrooms have A/C and are quiet at night. The dining room is huge. And, the apartment is well-stocked. Bernadette is also an amazing & friendly host.
We used to live in the area, so a few neighborhood tips for guests: the best lattes & cappuccinos can be found at Persa Cafe (1 block away). El Cuartito & Pizzaría Guerrin have the best pizza in Bs As. Try the Alfajor Crocante Dulce de Leche at Helados Italia. It's incredible! Persicco is outstanding for ice cream. Roux is our favorite "affordable" high-end restaurant. Incredible French cuisine. Pani (by Recoleta Cemetary) has the best medialunas. Vicente López y Planes Square has the best playground for kids. Casa de Cambio Pago Express & Nuts Decoracion generally have the best exchange rates, & are safe.
Enjoy!
