About this property

Spacious 3 bedroom farmhouse on the Blue Hill Peninsula

Welcome to Winslow Creek! Nestled in the charming coastal town of Penobscot on the Blue Hill Peninsula this 19th century farmhouse offers relaxation and comfort for your Maine vacation. Perfect for families or groups, The home features 3 bedrooms, 2 and a half baths, spacious living areas, a fully equipped chef’s kitchen, a large deck with grill and outdoor dining, and a fire pit to enjoy beautiful sunrises or gaze at the stars. The perfect launching point for your Maine adventure.

Winslow Creek is a perfect base for exploring some of Maine’s most popular spots. Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor, Deer Isle/Stonington, and Camden are an hour away. Just 30 minutes to Ellsworth or Belfast and 15 minutes to the towns of Blue Hill, Bucksport and Castine. There is a small market located across the street for provisions and live lobster. Along with its stunning landscapes, the Blue Hill Peninsula offers an abundance of shops, galleries, restaurants, local farms, and outdoor adventures for an authentic Maine experience.

Upon arriving at Winslow Creek, you will be greeted by a comfy porch with plenty of seating to watch life slowly go by. Parking is in the front, allowing easy unloading for two cars. There is also additional parking in the rear. Access to the house is through a keypad on the door to the right of the porch.

Once inside, you will be greeted by a large, open concept living room with sectional seating for the entire family. As you continue down the hallway, you’ll find a completely stocked chef’s kitchen with everything you need to make a gourmet meal. There’s even a bread “garage” fully equipped to make homemade bread. Off to the right is the dining room with seating for eight. Additionally, there’s a small nook with a desk and wireless printer if work calls. Past the kitchen is the family room with TV and a half bath. Head out the French doors to the deck where you’ll find a grill and lobster cooker and plenty of seating for dining al fresco and enjoying coffee while watching the sunrise.

Excellent Location

This was a great spot to stay! Away from the busyness of Bar Harbor but a quick ride to Acadia. Plenty of restaurants and amenities nearby. House was perfect for 2 adults and 2 teens. Everyone had their own room. All loved the big kitchen. Wish we got to use it more - next time!

Pick this one

Our family of 7 had plenty of room to spread out here. This place is well-appointed in every aspect. Huge modern and furnished kitchen, large dining table, huge living room, separate quiet TV/reading area, spacious bedrooms and laundry. This place is very homey and has all the charm of a New England farmhouse. Relatively close to all the Maine coastal attractions and Acadia National Park. We would definitely stay here again.

Quality place & stay

Overall an incredibly beautiful home with lots of modern luxuries. Kitchen was huge and up to date on the appliances, bathrooms were also up to date. Bedrooms were comfortable and cozy. Loved the outdoor fire pit, spent a few nights out there and would highly recommend! Beds and pillows were great and a sight for sore eyes.
