Fun weekend, know what you're getting.
The location of this property is not really ideal, the neighborhood tried to be nice but it's a little questionable driving through with a lot of abandoned houses. This house has been worked on, but the whole house is not level. There is 1 shower for the whole house-so 8 people took quite awhile to get ready for the day. The doors stick, the back deck is dangerous-it's made of plywood and sinks when stepped on (we had guests ranging from 70 lbs up to 250 lbs, and we all felt the give of the deck). The house is much smaller than the pictures indicate-2 people in the kitchen is a lot. The furniture was nice, there was lots of sitting room for eating. The "game room" was a tiny pool/air hockey table combined, which was nice to have but right in the middle of the house. The bunk bed is not put together correctly, and it squeaks whenever someone moves. There are air fresheners everywhere-and for people that don't like smells, this is not the house for you. We unplugged all of them, and then it smelled musty. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, and it was nice to have a grill in the backyard, just bring a lot of bug spray. The neighbor across the street is super nice, and gives great restaurant recommendations. The house is close to the Sidney Lanier bridge, and has good access to get to St. Simon and Jekkyl Island, and downtown Brunswick is about 5 minutes away.
