About the host
Hosted by Neranga Jayaweera
Nimal and Indrani Jayaweera are the loving parents of three wonderful children - two daughters, Dulhari and Nirmani, and their son, Neranga. The Jayaweera Family grew up in Bentota, a beautiful coastal village they've been lucky to call home.
Nimal, the fourth of nine children, inherited the house from his late father Austin Jayaweera in 1985 - the same year he married his lovely wife Indrani. It was in this house that they raised their three children.
The Villa has been a symbol of strength and pride for the family. It has hosted many people and events as well as given them unforgettable memories. The building itself has weathered many rainy days and some storms.
After residing in their family home for 20 years, the Jayaweeras built another to live in.
In 2018, the Jayaweera's came up with the idea to renovate the old house while preserving its unique, historic value. They have since invested a considerable portion of their time and savings to convert their home into a boutique Villa. The family are pleased that you can now also enjoy its stunning combination of class, history and comfort, situated in the lush, tropical surroundings of Sri Lanka.
