Hill Country Experience - Sun Valley Cottage - Short drive to Canyon Lake

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. TOTAL HILL COUNTRY EXPERIENCE. Gorgeous views from our winding hilltop road to a cottage nestled in an open valley. Nearby attractions such as Guadalupe River, Canyon Lake, New Braunfels, Comal River, White Water Amphitheater, along with nearby stylish bars and restaurants. Our Cottage in Spring Branch is centrally located to everything you can experience in Hill Country Texas.

You can also park your boat and trailer on our property!

Our neighborhood is located right off HWY 46. As your turn into our neighborhood you'll see two lively restaurants-- Antlers Cafe and the Screaming Goat Yard and Tap. As you pass them you'll drive down a winding road with GORGEOUS hilltop views of Texas Hill Country. Our cottage is at the end of the road on the left side with a ton of wildlife such as goats, turkeys, deer, and chickens.

Our cottage is quietly nestled on a 4 acre property. Owners live on the property - no other cabins are located on the property. Totally private and quiet with fun live bars and hangouts minutes away.

Cottage has utensils, plates, cooking utensils, cups, coffee mugs, bowls, pots and pans, cutting boards, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, blender, propane grill, fire pit, outdoor picnic table, smart TVs.

Wonderful cottage stay

This cottage has everything you need for a clean, comfortable and convenient stay!The critters (deer, chickens, neighbors goats) are fun to watch. Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, nice towels, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, hotplate, wifi and 2 televisions.We greatly enjoyed our stay and will return when we travel to the Spring Branch area! Thank you for a great place!

Cabin Review

Decided to do a river trip and this is where I stayed. Pretty reasonable price. The amount for the fee for property damage is ridiculous but it’s like that everywhere. Very clean and well maintained. I didn’t know that the cabin was going to be so close to the owner’s house but that wasn’t a major issue for me. The owner was communicative. Way more pros than cons.

Very nice private cottage in Texas Hill Country

Enjoyed our stay very much. Cottage was clean, cozy, and well equipped. We especially liked sitting outside by the fire pit and on the front porch watching the deer, goats, and chickens and visiting with Stella, the very friendly farm cat.. Short drive to Guadalupe River State Park, where we had some great hikes. Also convenient to several good restaurants. Host Amanda was very friendly and communicative.

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I came to Spring Branch for work and a quick getaway. The space was small, but perfect for the two of us. We were very comfortable. We loved petting the “farm” cat and watching the deer on the property. There is no oven, but the hot pad worked great for making a quick breakfast. Thank you for sharing your space. We would recommend this location.

Very nice clean and quite we live on a ranch in a very remote area and are always concerned about where we stay because we love peace and quiet and we were amazed of the peace and quiet of this cottage and so close to the city,again i cant say it enough very nice little cottage!!!

Amazing Little Retreat!

This quiet little cabin was a great little couple’s retreat for us! Although small, it had all of the essentials and helped us recenter throughout our stay! We also loved seeing the deer and goats, and there was a very friendly farm cat—one with white paws—that would let us pet them. There was also an H‑E‑B that was only 10 minutes away and 2 restaurants that were very conveniently close by! Not only that, but it was about 30 minutes away from San Antonio and Canyon Lake. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would love to come back if we ever decide to explore the Hill Country and San Antonio again!

We were looking for a quiet place to stay for our getaway. Only 45 minutes from San Antonio and plenty to do nearby. The drive to this place is gorgeous! A simple, clean and tidy place for two. We will book this place again if we are ever in the are.

Celebrating His Birthday

I took my other half here for his birthday. I chose it because I wanted to stay somewhere where we would get that country feel, and that it has. The cottage is SUPER CUTE! He loves to grill so we did. We had plenty of privacy and the best thing on the property was the friendly little cat, who I now consider as a personal friend...lol He/she roams the property at their leisure. We would definitely return and highly suggest this as a cute country getaway, and just as an FYI, at the entrance of the main road is the cutest little bar and a restaurant with great food! Enjoy!!

Fantastic Place to Stay

We stayed at the cottage for a week and absolutely loved it. The cottage was really roomy and very clean. The hostess thought of everything that you would need. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family to stay here in the future, as well as return ourselves. We did a bit of driving around "Hill Country" and spent a couple of days at the cottage just resting. It's a peaceful, quiet place to spend some time.

Nice place to stay for a tubing trip

It was a nice 25 minute drive to Canyon Lake and tubing at the Guadalupe River horseshoe loop. Well maintained and attention to details with all the kitchen utensils you need and a clean gas grill outside.
