My two daughters and I enjoyed this peaceful place, and the space was perfect for us. Nature is right outside the door and we appreciated every minute we were there. Me and my husband will definitely be booking a future trip for the two of us.
We were fishing in Drum tournament and stayed at the cabin. It was a perfect place for 4 guys who were there to fish. Brought air mattresses so everyone had their own bed.
Kind of rustic. The owner is great. If you have a question he will answer immediately. He will try to help any way he can. Plan to stay with him again. Good place to go if you want to get away. The closest store is 3 miles away.
A decent spot to stay. There are a few things that need repair but nothing to concerning. Bare essentials for the kitchen. Good view. Only had 1 kayak for the listed 2 but we didn’t use them. Bring bug spray!

Good quality/price
During our camping trip at Ocracoke, the heat became unbearable, cutting our stay short. However, not wanting to end our vacation prematurely, we found this listing within reasonable distance, and a convenient ferry service. Thankfully, the place lived up to its pictures and wasn't affected by the nearby fish processing facility. Check-in was smooth, and the host was very responsive to our questions, even with only 24 hours' notice. While the water in the shower had a sulfur odor and left us feeling a bit soapy (too soft/too hard idk), the deck outside was perfect for relaxing and having late afternoon meals. Overall, I recommend this stay for its reasonable price, comfortable beds and sofa, individual TVs in every room, spacious kitchen with provided coffee, and a functional grill.
