Beach Living at the Retreat

Summary:
If you long for a quiet beach, world class snorkeling, lazy beach days, or perhaps some fun and adventure with the family, the Retreat is the place to be! Aside from the peacefulness of the beach, the amazing sunset views, and the endless recreational activities available, you and your family can relax in our beautifully furnished one-bedroom condo and sip on morning coffees or afternoon cocktails while taking in the sea views on the screened-in balcony.

The Space:
The spacious bedroom has a super comfortable King size bed, and in living room you'll find a sofa bed for additional sleeping accommodations. The condo's kitchen is fully equipped, including a blender for delicious frozen drinks or smoothies. You''ll have all you need to prepare wonderful home cooked meals to either dine in or take for a picnic at the beach! There is cable tv and complimentary Wifi, central AC, and a washer/dryer available in the unit. The condo is located on the second floor, and there are stairs leading up to the unit.

Guest Access:
The Retreat guests have access to free parking, a swimming pool, the use of a private gym and tennis court. (rackets/balls not provided)
Of course, you'll most enjoy the private beach access, plenty of beach chairs, and incredible snorkeling right off shore.
There are BBQ's available for your use on teh property also. There are kayaks and bicycles available for daily rental as well. We suggest to bring your own snorkel gear, however there are some companies available to rent for the day as well.

The Neighborhood:
The Retreat is located in the Cayman Kai/Rum Point area on the Northside of the island, and is very close to some fantastic restaurants and fun activities (Stingray City/Sandbar is a 10-minute boat ride from the Retreat). Snorkel and swim around Rum Point or sunbathe on our beautiful beach. Enjoy an evening of fine dining at the Rum Point Club next door. Just down the road is Kaibo – casual by day, upscale by night, and always delicious.

Getting Around:
If you plan to stay at our property, we highly recommend renting a car. It's about a 45 minute drive from George Town and the closest grocery store to the property is approx 10 minute drive. They do deliver, but to really explore the island, and get around this part of the island, you'll appreciate having the convenience of your own vehicle. You'll have an opportunity should you choose to visit some of the local restaurants in the area, like Tukka and Over the Edge, both with waterfront dining. Or escape to the Crystal Caves. Also, Cayman Ferries is available twice a day for pick up at Rum Point Pier and drop off at Camana Bay (in the Seven Mile Beach area) which has several restaurants, shopping and Fosters, a massive grocery store.

Other Things to Note:
We recommend renting a car in advance for your arrival. There are several known rental companies located at the airport for your convenience. On your drive to the property, you'll be able to stop at a grocery store to stock up on food for your stay.
Please note that the final price provided includes the daily accommodation rate, cleaning fee, as well as the Cayman Islands Government 13% tourism tax.
