This wonderful home is secluded and offers a view of Matanuska Peak towering in the backdrop. Windows and 2 sliding glass doors offer a spectacular view from the open concept living room and kitchen. ****** It is important to note that although this is an amazing property for a large or small group but it does not have lake access. The land between this house and the lake is private. The lake is below and can't always be seen because of the tress that are grown up on the front of the property.

We did have 1 more girl than planned but I called and asked because we were supposed to have more girls come. We had a night out on the town for a bachelorette party and needed a place to lay our heads for the night and well it did not disappoint!!! It was back in the beautiful Alaskan mountains and I had forgotten about Alaska’s beauty!! I even want to book again in the future!!! Host was extremely kind helpful and friendly
loved everything about it. would have been nice to have a grill but i know that can be hard out in the boonies. only negative was we needed to get bottled water for drinking as well water was brownish.
We were not happy about staying at your rental home! The heater did not work and we had to google the instructions to fix it! Also no blankets we were so cold!!! Also nothing was comfortable and there were missing pieces in your games! Their was also no washing machine which was a HUGE problem and when we tried to call property management about our problems all the calls went immediately to voicemail as though you were ignoring us which I know you would never try to purposely do, RIGHT?! The whole place felt dirty and we only had a view that was covered by a lot of trees and how did you expect us to make a fire with no firewood, did you expect us to go out and cut a tree with the axes we bring everywhere because apparently you need them when no one supplies firewood! You also need to update your pictures on the website you lured us in with the photos and then stick us in a place that hasn’t been lived in for what 5 years?! Also if you expect anyone to stay there it needs a shower which you did have but then you also need water that you can survive in for more than 10 minutes!!!! Were you trying to have us get frostbite there was absolutely no hot water!!! That was the biggest problem of them all!!! So overall you have a lot to work on and so you need to lower the pricing of the house because if these problems you have don’t get fixed and you keep the price you might have a riot on your hands! So in conclusion you have a lot to work on!!!!
Beautifully decorated home. Spacious. Well stocked kitchen. Nice location but not near the lake and no view of the lake as stated in the property description.
Lovely homeowner and very attentive to our needs.
House was in perfect order! Was in town for work and didnt want to stay in town... this place is exactly that... OUT OF TOWN! Spectacular view from the property... and even got to see a a Silver Fox 30 ft from the front door.
Would love to come back!
The view at this property is absolutely stunning, as is the drive up to it. The home is well built and beautifully maintained as well. We will hopefully be staying at this property again for a much longer stay.

About the host
Hosted by Johnathan Jester 863-393-4433
We lived in Alaska for years and we have now relocated to Florida to be closer to our kids. We loved being on property and hosting guests but we still feel a great connection because we are always available by phone to help with anything Alaska. It is such a magical place to travel to and we love to make sure our guests have a lifetime of memories from this stay.
Why they chose this property
I love the peaceful, quiet serenity of this property.
What makes this property unique
I love this property because if feels like you are way off the grid, deep in the heart of Alaska but it is just an 15 minute drive to Palmer.
