Nice beach themed furnishings

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo is as described, updated, clean, and nicely furnished. Easy check in. Owner even ensured we knew about the road closures and how to make our flight out on time. Highly recommend.

Pleasant Stay

The property was presented as advertised. We had a minor issue with the door code lock but it was resolved by the owners to our satisfaction. The property was well appointed and we appreciated the dining/activity suggestions made by the owner. The pool area was very nice... unfortunately we couldn't make use of it due to unseasonably cool temps.

Exploring the Keys

Great location and views. Very beautiful resort and convenient to the upper and lower Keys. The Condo reflects the description. I would highly recommend it to others. Good for a small family or 2 couples. There was plenty of activities and places to eat in the area.

The place was great! Really enjoyed our time there. Great location. Would definitely come back. Only advice would be to provide more than a little piece of bath soap or tell people to bring their own.

First Time in the Keys

In mid April, my wife and I stole a couple of days to reconnect and enjoy the clean, clear water of the Florida Keys. While searching properties, this Oceanview Condo stood out for its location, decor, and view. We weren't disappointed! We received accurate, hassle free information from the property manager prior to arrival. The location was easy to find. We were welcomed by the staff. And the condo was supplied appropriately with with towels and kitchen items. The condo was clean and fresh upon our arrival. We appreciated the location where it was, because it gave us easy access to reach any place in the Keys. The drive to Key West was spectacular.

Nice location

Enjoyed a week in Key Largo before moving to a rental home for a month in the lower keys. The condo was exactly as presented but we find we are not really condo people.

Lovely Condo

It was a great vacation and an excellent location. Jorge was very accommodating. We did have a problem with the shower spraying water that was never addressed but we were able to use the guest bathroom. It is something that needs to be fixed and was not for the 3 weeks we were there. The view and amenities were amazing. If you are planning to be there for more than a week, plan to bring your own supplies. We expected enough toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent but were only given enough for the week. Also, you will need to get to the pool early to claim your chair. Chairs are gone by 9:00 am and the 30 minute hold regulation is not enforced. All in all we had a wonderful vacation and look forward to returning in the future.

Tavernier condo

The property was clean and exactly as described on VRBO. Updated bathrooms and large master bedroom. Close proximity to both pool and beach. Disappointed that the restaurant/bar was closed but this was not the fault of the owner. Beautiful pool area with plenty of seating. Kitchen appliances could use an update and better equipped kitchen items. Otherwise we had a wonderful, relaxing stay in Tavernier at Ocean Pointe.

Disappointing

Having read the reviews I was disappointed to arrive and find the property was very dated, not clean in terms of the general cleanliness, beds were comfortable and bedding was clean as were towels, but my view is that the property lacked investment which is a shame. Location is good, well located to visit most areas of the keys. I don’t generally write negative reviews but I did forward images of my issues to the owner, who to be fair did respond, but no remedy offered other than a thank you for advising him of the issues. Images were sent to owner, poor decoration, wicker chairs full of dust, AC very noisy, stains on side tables and upholstery, no cereal bowls or side plates, 1 teaspoon!!! Not great and it did feel a bit of a “mick take”. Really disappointing that having privately contacted the owner and not satisfactorily resolved in any way or form.

Cozy retreat

We had a great time staying at this property! It was very cozy and had all of the necessary comforts of home. It was perfect for our party of four. The amenities were great! We enjoyed the pool, beach and pickle-ball courts!

Our family is from Miami, and we've been coming to the Keys to 'get away' for the past 17 years. We like to think of it as our 'home away from home'. We feel like we're in another world as soon as we drive in! Our kids have grown up here and it is the one place where we feel we can truly 'disconnect'.

Why they chose this property

Ocean Pointe is quiet, but also offers activities for the whole family. We love hopping on our boat and grabbing lunch nearby, or barbequing downstairs with friends or family. Our property is far enough to feel like you've left the "hustle and bustle", yet close enough to all the conveniences you may need.

What makes this property unique

Beautiful views, nearby sandbar, fishing, diving. Local restaurants feature the best of Keys dining. A day trip to Key West is just 93 miles away, full of scenic views and interesting stops along the way.
