Very relaxing with the beautiful view and the peaceful quiet. The cabin had a lot of cute touches. I loved the teapot!

Weekend Visit with daughter

My husband and I spent the weekend to visit with our daughter. It was exactly as described in the posting. Nice and quiet on a beautiful lake. Only “complaint” is the bed could use some better pillows. Would certainly stay again.

July 2024 Stay

Spent a few days here. Listing is accurate. Good place to unplug. Only complaint was that someone definitely smoked there prior to us arriving but the smell was gone by day 2. Good fishing, friendly neighbors. Lake can be pretty busy with jet skis. Overall enjoyed our time here.

Middlefield cottage

Beautiful little cottage on the lake. Immaculately clean and everything you could need. Convenient to any part of Connecticut. The manager is very easy to deal with. Cannot wait to stay again.

Cottage near lake

The location was great for outings in the central part of Connecticut, which allowed short trips to coast and inland. The facility was modest, priced well, and very comfortable. The manager provided information that was clear and helpful. It was a nice place for rest.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, The lake is beautiful and the location for us was great. We flew in from CO and could not bring our kayaks. Being on a lake, it would be nice if there were some kayaks or canoes to enjoy the lake with. You can get a handful of kayaks to be shared among all your cottages. Our stay was good, kayaks would have made it perfect.

Small thing means a lot !!

Night stand on one side of bed…only!! Need a lamp for end table No coffee table LAW SUIT WAITING TO HAPPEN!!!!! No anti slip strips on bottom of bath tub… The bottom of tub is as slippery as WET ICE…. PLEASE FIX THAT PROBLEM !!!!!!
