Close to Starkville to get into town in 15 minutes but far enough away to feel like you’re out in the country. Very nice stay. Would definitely stay again.
We absolutely loved the property!!! I love cottages especially those that have charm and history!!! I enjoyed it so much that I knew I had an early start the next day but it was so cute and cozy that I just enjoyed the peace and serenity over into the early hours of the day!!!
We needed a place last minute and weren’t sure how long we would need to stay. The host was so helpful in working with us on that. We were provided everything we needed, even a couple of items we requested for the kitchen. We slept very well and were able to work on the wifi during the day. Would stay again! Thank you!
The Cottage is a quaint and adorable one bedroom in an excellent location! We were visiting MSU and loved being able to get to everything in Starkville within 15 minutes. It was quiet and nicely equipped for me and my daughter. Mary Elizabeth was so responsive and wonderful to communicate with throughout our rental process. We will definitely look to stay here again!
Cabin was clean. There was evening noises of roosters and donkeys. Gave it a real country feel. Once the doors were closed it was nice and quiet. Perfect for a one night stay, our boxer pup was very comfortable as well. The host responded very quickly to any questions I had.
Quick trip to watch opening weekend for the Bulldogs. We weren't here much more than to sleep. Very comfortable and served our purpose. Would stay here again.
Communication was great. Location was great. Was a little concerned about the surroundings but turned out to be peaceful with no issues. The cottage needs a really good cleaning (cob webs, hair in shower drain, shower head, etc.) but overall was pleased with my stay for the cost. GREAT PLACE if you are traveling with pups! Would stay again, if I needed a place that would allow dogs! :)
The little cottage was perfect for our trip to visit family. We were out and about all day, and it was nice to have our own place to "come home" at night. We are actually used to living tiny, so the house seemed like a luxury to us and our doggies. The fenced yard was a real treat for our pups and the reason we booked this particular rental. Everything was clean and bright and maintained. The area was quiet. We won't hesitate staying here again when in town.
The location was very remote but very clean. The air conditioning wafts a damp moldy odor and the couch is not very sturdy or comfortable. Overall the stay was relaxing and I love the fact that aroma products are provided for use.
