This is an amazing place and we absolutely loved the uniqueness of it!!! Perfect little getaway spot. The quiet, the pistachio trees, and views were great. The bed was super comfortable & AC worked great!!! Thank you for making our visit so wonderful!
The Silo is absolutely darling. We thought the Murphy bed was quite comfortable. The drive from town was beautiful and the property beautiful as well! We will very likely be back.
The grain silo was such a charming and peaceful place to stay. If you want quiet (except for the nature) this is a place to go! It is a bit off the beaten path but everything you need is there once you get in.
I wanted to relax, sleep and getaway and this place was perfect. I enjoyed our stay there. Clean room and comfortable. The location itself is not hard to get to and the wifi was great for watching tv. Thank you.
Had an amazing time. This property is beautiful. The silo has everything you need. I brought a griddle knowing there was a bbq. We made breakfast & drank coffee on the deck while watching the wild turkeys roam through the pistachio trees. If you’re looking for peace & quiet with beautiful views, this is your spot.
The Silo is brand new, clean and quiet - exactly as pictured. The outside deck was great to sit out on and enjoy a glass of wine with picturesque views. We also enjoyed watching a herd of wild pigs forage under the oak trees and a beautiful sunset over the hills. Would definitely recommend- when are you ever going to get the opportunity to stay in a Silo?!? So glad we chose this over a boring hotel room.
We enjoyed our stay at the silos. Beautiful and quiet location. The silo was just right for our long weekend. It was clean and we enjoyed our coffee on the back deck.

About the host
Hosted by Phil Cagliero
I was born and raised in the Paso Robles/San Miguel area and come from a long line of farmers and ranchers. I spent most of my career behind a computer and now enjoy getting dirty every day on the ranch.
Why they chose this property
These grain silos were native to the ranch. They were used to store grain when it was a viable business in this area. They were out of use for the past 50 years and mostly used to store junk. We repurposed them into bars, bathrooms, and kitchens for our wedding venue. And now for tiny home apartments!
What makes this property unique
Ever slept in a grain silo? Enjoy all the comforts of home and serenity of the country while living the "silo life". Sit on the back deck and watch the sunrise with coffee or the sunset with your favorite beverage.
