Lake House

Nice rental! Deck overlooking the lake (across the street) and the surrounding mountains. Great place for stargazing! Convenient to both Wellsboro and Corning, NY.Quiet, clean and relaxing.

Country Retreat

Nice, new, and great views. Located just south of the PA NY border, close to Corning. Plenty of room up to 6 people, full kitchen and laundry.

Perfect little lake cabin with a beautiful view of Cowanesque Lake. Everything was clean and exactly as described. Owner was helpful and responsive.

Great place!

Thank ypu Charles for a wonderful stay. I was there for a long weekend with my husband and 3 teen daughters and we loved it. Close to kayaking, and trails around the lake. We also took day trips to Corning and Watkins Glen. The house was perfect for our needs and Charles was quick to repond with any questions. Loved our stay!

Excellent location

We travelled to see the fall color and the grand canyon of PA. This place is absolutely fantastic. The view from the room and the location is absolutely mind blowing if you are looking for a quiet getaways.

The place fit our needs 100%. Very clean & welcoming. The only negative was not any blankets for the bed we did borrow some from friends, so that we didn't have to disrupt the other beds.

Wedding weekend

Beautiful place with a great view of the lake. Our daughter got married at The Barn at Springhill and this place was conveniently located near there. Would highly recommend stayed here

This is my second time staying here. The place is always super clean and peaceful. We come in the fall to visit a friend and see the leaves change. There is a beautiful lake across the road that appears out of the morning mist. We are planning to come back in the summer to check that out. Highly recommend!

Wellsboro Dickens Christmas 2024

We had a very nice stay at this lovely cottage. Great view, comfortable, clean. Only 19 miles from town of Wellsboro. Had dinner at the Rusty Nut. Great food, ambiance and friendly staff. After the in town festivities took a drive out to Duncan Tavern for dinner. Great wings! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The view was nice as well. All in all, great stay and good fun! Thank you Charles for renting to us.

Everything exceeded our expectations. We did find plenty of pet hair on our clothing after sitting on the furniture but that wasn’t a big problem. We would definitely stay there again and have already recommended it to others!

Family Christmas weekend

We were very happy with the house which was very nice. Only small complaintwas the water for showers in the bathrooms was only lukewarm at best and cold orher times.

Great place to relax

The house is very clean. The kitchen has like new appliances. We had a slight maintenance issue, I called Charlie and it was taken care of immediately. Charlie is a great host. I will definitely be back.

Nice house.

The house was clean and very nice. The views were incredible. The only negative was that we had to go buy laundry detergent and dish soap. I have never had to do that before in any of the VRBOs we have stayed at. Also I found the request to strip the beds unusual as usually the property owner does that or has someone do that when they clean.

Our November Getaway

My first impression was the scenic location of the property. Looking across the lake to the mountains and with woods behind us..very relaxing. The house was immaculately clean and had 3 nice sized bedrooms with closets (two full bathrooms was a bonus and made our stay easier). The kitchen was spacious and had all modern appliances in a well thought out layout that facilitated eating in. A nice sized living room with a wall mounted smart TV and wi-fi just added to our enjoyment. All in all, I would certainly recommend this VRBO and look forward to staying there again. ps. The house has a nice deck facing the lake and the mountains - bonus!
