This was a perfect launching point for our trips to Yellowstone. Enjoyed the view of the lakes and the mountains and the quiet area we were in. Nice to have a convenience store close as well as West Yellowstone. Would stay again.
Stayed here with my partner, my cousin and my cousin’s partner. It is well-equipped and has two private bedrooms upstairs. We did have to sit side-saddle on the upstairs toilet, so basically there was one full-service toilet, which made the pooping situation less than ideal.
Welcoming little house for our family of 4 with a beautiful view of the lake in the evenings. It worked for what we needed and close proximity to the west Yellowstone entrance without all the hustle and bustle of West Yellowstone itself.
We stayed there for our Yellowstone trip. Not too far from West Yellowstone but close enough. Very clean and wonderful views. Would definitely stay again.
This was the perfect location for our daily visits to Yellowstone.
Cabin was clean and an enjoyable place to come back to after long days hiking and sightseeing in the parks.
Check in and out was very easy l, as was the communication with the host.
Great place, would definitely recommend.
This cabin was a good place to stay for a base for exploring Yellowstone. We had a few issues with check-in, but Katherine was amazing. She fixed our issue quickly and was available if we had questions or needed anything for the cabin. Great area! Laundromat right near the cabin along with a general store, gas station and recreation room! There is also a crepe food truck that was delicious! If it’s open, check it out!
This property was all that was advertised and more. The view off the front porch and the second story window was breathtaking. The house was super clean and perfect for our family of 5 and our trips into Yellowstone.
We stayed in this cozy cabin as a base for going to Yellowstone National Park. It was clean and great for our family. It was just a short drive to the park and the owner was easy to communicate with. Definitely would recommend it.
We had travel issues due to the CrowdStrike software glitches with the airlines. After several delays and flight cancellations, we ultimately had to cancel the stay. Katherine was amazingly helpful, accommodative, and easy to reach for all of our communications. We will definitely be looking to re-book in the future and will look to return to this property.
We had a great stay! Katherine (owner) was very communicative. There was a completely unexpected and unavoidable issue with the water. She communicated with me clearly and immediately, and went above and beyond to make it right.
The house was perfect for myself, husband and 3 teenage daughters. It was so quiet in the evening and was the perfect drive to get into west Yellowstone and the park.
Definitely recommend.
Our trip started off with some trouble as I totally messed up my dates when booking my accommodations, and arrived very late the evening before I was actually supposed to arrive. It was already close to 11pm so I wasn't able to reach the host, Katherine, but luckily for us there was a motel 5 minutes away that was able to accommodate us for the night.
I did reach Katherine the next morning and she thankfully allowed us to check in early, such that we were able to unload our supplies and groceries, and still have enough time to head to the park for several attractions. If you are arriving after dark, just a heads up that the road to the cabin is right before the gas station if you are coming from the East, as it is hard to see. Once we returned from the park, we finally finished settling in, it was nice to sit on the rocking chairs out front and watch the sunset. The cabin is charming, with some quaint decorations themed towards Yellowstone. Its kitchen was well stocked with all the bowls and utensils one would need to prepare a decent meal for a small family. It is about a 15 min drive to West Yellowstone, so perhaps not the most convenient spot if you forget something, so plan your meals in advance. They do have a BBQ on their back patio as well, but we used the stove and oven for all our cooking.
The furniture and beds were comfy, and we all slept in every morning. The only thing that was a bit challenging for me being 6'5" was using the half bath upstairs.
