Great place to stay if you are exploring Salem! We were able to walk most places and enjoyed the neighborhood. Check out Dotty and Ray's for a great breakfast. Host was nice and very responsive.
We had the amazing opportunity to stay at this cute apartment in Salem. The owner was so nice and very helpful. It was so cozy and was just a short walk to the heart of the haunted happenings! We would definitely stay here again!
Loved this property, as a family we were not bothered by the owners little one running around above us. Nothing we are not used to. Perfect location to walk to everything, which was nice since traffic was crazy. House itself was perfect size for our family of 4 and had everything we could need. Would love to stay again sometime. Thank you
This rental is the 1st floor of a house. Located on a residential street, just across the bridge from downtown Salem and the train station. Downtown Salem is a short 10 minute walk away and the distance removes you from the hordes flocking to Salem for the Halloween festivities. There are restaurants, coffee shops, and a supermarket nearby which did not seem to be inundated the way the rest of the city is during October.
The living room was a nice size and was very comfortable. The bedrooms and kitchen were very small. The main bedroom really only had room for the bed itself. This rental would be ideal for a single person. Maybe a single person with one child who could sleep in the bunk bed room. For two adults and a teenager, we were a bit on top of each other at times.
There was a family living above our unit (the owner?) who we could hear walking around. They weren't excessively loud at all but at times the sound was a little disruptive. It is a small, old house, probably built in the late 1800/early 1900s if I had to guess.
But the rental was well stocked and the owner proactively took care of the parking permit for us before we arrived. They were also very responsive for any questions we had.
This apartment was in a quiet neighborhood that was a short walk from all of the stores, restaurants, bars, etc. it was a clean and comfortable home base for our weekend in Salem.
The home was clean, the walk was short, the host was helpful.

We liked this cute little home very much! It was perfect for what we were needing and very walkable from the areas in salem we wanted to visit. We also felt safe when we went walking or running in the morning or at night. The only complaint I have is the noise from upstairs. It was like people started running around at 11 or 12 each night and this was difficulty for us to fall asleep/it would wake us up. Other than this, we heard no other noise, or had any other issues.
First i made my stay for the wrong date. I called the owner and explained my situation. He said i will call you back. He did within minutes and was going to clean the house. He then text me when they were done. They were so helpful and the house was spotless. Within walking distance to many attraction which was perfect.
I cant say enough good things about our stay. The host was amazing and helped make our stay incredibly comforting. I would recommend this property to everyone looking for a comfortable like home experience. It was close to everything we wanted to see and also close to stores and a couple of restaurants. Cant wait to book with them again!

We had an entire apartment to ourselves. Everything was well stocked, and communication was excellent! Parking was a little challenge, meaning the street (as most in Salem) was tight, but we managed fine. Wonderful water pressure in the shower! Would stay here again for sure!
Cute house, plenty of room for the 4 of us. Backyard really wasn’t useable, had to be careful not to blow a fuse plugging two things into an outlet, get some WD40 for the door hinges. We had a wonderful time and the house was fine.

It was very nice and relaxing. Easy to get around town from there.
We could not have asked for a better stay at a great location. It is a 15 minute walk to the historic area with a slight incline going over the bridge and it is easy. The listing is as described and was very clean. Check-in was easy and the hosts were very responsive. The parking was great, found a spot in front and used the pass provided. Highly recommend this spot when visiting Salem.
My friend and I had a wonderful time staying at this property. It was close enough to pretty much everything to walk to but far away enough away to relax.
Clean, easy parking, easy entry. Quaint diner to walk to on corner of the street. A good spot to lay your head after exploring Salem.

Loudest Vrbo I have ever stayed in
This advertised as a quick 10 minute walk to downtown. It was more like 15 to 20 minute walk.
The property owners live upstairs to this property and have at least one small child. We wanted to take naps and read books in the afternoon and it was so incredibly loud with a child banging and running the whole entire day and adults yelling upstairs. I took some videos of how incredibly loud it was. If you are out and about in Salem all day, this property would probably work for you. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax this is not it.
My friend and I stayed here for Halloween. It was so nice being able to walk home as the crowds of people where lining up to try and catch the train or an Uber. Our host communicated well and the place was nice and comfortable.
The house really was a quick walking distance from the train station and was easy to retreat to when we needed a clean bathroom or just a little while to recoup. The bed was comfortable and it was a nice small space for a few friends to laugh and enjoys each others company. We can from separate parts of the country to spend a week together in Salem and this little apartment was a nice home for us during our visit. Thank you!
This is the way to go to see the sights of Salem! We had a great stay here. The host was wonderful. We only had one problem and he took care of it right away. Very responsive and easy to get a hold of. Our car never moved the entire time because everything we wanted to see was walking distance away. We would highly remmoned this place to anyone. Thank you!
