About this property
Stunning converted chapel in the beautiful Hope Valley
Heather View Chapel is an outstanding, sympathetically converted historic Georgian Chapel which has been refurbished to the highest standards to provide an amazing base for a holiday in the beautiful Peak District. With views across the Hope Valley it is in an ideal spot to explore the local countryside.
This spectacular, unique and contemporary living space is fully equipped for a wonderful break to enjoy the many local walks and sights.
The Space
A solid oak front door opens to a magnificent open plan living space throughout the ground floor from the dining area, kitchen and sitting area. A with double height ceiling, exposed cruck beams and large stone mullion bespoke fitted kitchen features a range of handmade units surmounted by solid windows providing superb natural light.
While being on holiday is often about eating in local pubs and restaurants (of which there are plenty), Heather View Chapel has a kitchen with everything that you will need if you want to cook for yourself. The fridge freezer is more than adequate for a weeks shopping, and the 6 burner stove is large enough to cater for the larger meals! There are even a few cook books to inspire you.
The Peak District is all about being outdoors and enjoying the scenery, but when you come back to Heather View Chapel it is a lovely place to relax. The beautiful building is complemented by high quality furnishings and is simply a lovely place to be. There are a couple of maps of the local area and some books of local walks.
In the unlikely event that you should get bored, there are a few board games, fast internet and a large screen TV to keep you entertained.
