About this property

Escape the crowds to this cozy, secluded cottage that is less than 1.5 hours away from the DC region. Relax inside, bask in the beautiful views on the deck, or unwind in the detached bar/entertainment room as you surround yourself with the sights and sounds of nature. Visit nearby wineries and attractions like Luray Caverns. Hike the nearby Shenandoah National Park. Canoe, kayak, or raft in the Shenandoah River. And many more—the Shenandoah Valley offers activities for everyone!

The Firefly Lodge is a three bedroom, two full bathroom cabin. Walk down the beautifully lit deck steps to meet a covered grill area, more outdoor seating around a fire pit, and covered seating outside our detached bar/entertainment room, perfect for an evening drink and relaxation session.

You will have the entire cabin and outdoor area (3 acres) to yourself during your stay.

Our cabin sleeps 6, but we allow up to 2 additional guests for a fee. We provide 2 air mattresses (pump included) for additional guests to sleep on.

We provide a baby crib for your convenience (children under 2 do not count as guests).

We allow up to 2 pets for a fee of $50 per stay.

Our house manager will gladly take your trash as we do not have a scheduled trash service. He appreciates a tip of $5 per bag. Please place all trash bags in the large bin outside.

This property is perfect! Everything you need to have handy and relax is here: full kitchen, laundry room, porch with beautiful view, area for children, teens, and or adults to hang out with fire pit and small detached room with tv, 3 bedrooms, and two bathrooms, nice living room and dining room. The property owners are wonderful people who communicate well and timely. My three teenage boys, astro photographer husband, and I had a pleasant stay here. I would highly recommend this Firefly Lodge!

Delightful country home near Luray, VA

This is a delightful and comfortable home near all the attractions that Luray, VA, and adjoining towns offer. The setting is private and quiet with a beautiful view of the mountains. You may find deer on the back lawn and plenty of birds in the trees. Views of the night sky are spectacular! This is a perfect spot to enjoy a restful time in the country, and the owner has provided an abundant supply of staples and amenities. Enjoy!

Perfect getaway in the mountains

The property was exactly as described. The owner communicated everything we needed to know prior to our arrival and access to the property was effortless. The deck was perfect for relaxing after hiking in Shenandoah and the view was gorgeous! The house had everything we needed and was perfect for our weekend getaway to the mountains. Would highly recommend!
