Amazing House

The property is truly unique and our host, Gil, worked very hard to make us comfortable and knowledgeable about the area. Robes were supplied for everyone, he left a gift basket, and we loved the view as well as the outdoor fire pit under the stars.

Mountain Top Retreat

Nestled in the heart of wine country, this mountain top retreat is a haven of luxury and tranquility. The panoramic views of the surrounding valley offer 180 degrees of breathtaking sunrises (unfortunately we were not there for sunsets - so cannot comment). The retreat itself is a blend of comfort and elegance. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, ensuring a restful sleep. Modern amenities add to the overall experience, making your stay as comfortable as possible. And the top floor kitchen, bar and fireplaces (one inside and one on the deck) make the experience one you don't want to leave. In conclusion, this mountain top retreat is not just a rental, it's an experience. Whether you're a wine lover or just seeking a peaceful getaway, this retreat is the perfect choice for an unforgettable stay.

Great Week in Paso

This is an extremely nice property. I have been in and around the Paso Robles area many times and I am not sure I’ve ever seen a property with a view like this house has. The deck is a perfect place to spend an entire day and the breeze and temperatures make it perfect. The inside of the house is very entertainment friendly and is well stocked with pretty much anything you need. The property owner was overly hospitable offering to even go grocery shopping for us prior to arrival. If you enjoy seclusion and peacefulness while still being a short beautiful drive from all the action of Paso, this is your place.

About the host

Host profile image
I am an old guy who found himself wanting to escape from Southern California. My dream was of a little land, peaceful and secure, with a view, located close to the ocean in a temperate climate and away from the hustle bustle of urban life. One of my hobbies was that of a “weekend wood butcher.”

What you see is the culmination of that vision and work that I created as owner-builder.

Come share my dream on this mountain sanctuary.
