We stayed and this property it was cozy place and very clean and well equipped also there was outdoor covered dining area as well as gas bbq we would consider to stay there again
This cabin was just what I was looking for. Comfy bed, quiet (except the renovation going on next door, but I was out and about most of the day).
I didn’t need a big space but I definitely didn’t want a cramped hotel room so this was just right. 🙂
Where to begin....when we arrived, the entire house reeked of febreeze. The house had NOT been cleaned....floors were sticky, dead flies everywhere, and ants on the kitchen counter making their way to the sugar bin. Bedding was full of hair, and the beds were very uncomfortable. There were no towels in the bathroom (although we did eventually find some stacked on a cardboard toilet box in a bedroom) - and the bathroom mirror was broken and towel bar completely missing. The house was a balmy 84 degrees because the system was left off, and despite running fans and AC we were not able to cool it down enough to sleep comfortably. The kitchen had very few helpful things ....no cups, only dirty mugs....grounds coffee, but no coffee maker....old condiments in the cupboard, not fridge. We were bombarded by flies all night, and couldn't wait to get out the next morning. Communications with the host were met with defensiveness and excuses. In terms of unsafe conditions, the heating unit is fully exposed in the master bedroom, and the bed placement is a fire hazard because it blocks the only window in the room. I wish I would have picked the Holiday Inn down the street. The owner needs to spend some serious time fixing things and going through the house to make this acceptable for future guests.
I loved staying at this place. Its hidden in the beautfiful frazier park area. The surrounding is quiet and peaceful.
The house itself has everything you need and is very cozy.
Tha backyard is great to lounge around and watch the mountain in the backdrop.
My two teenagers and I stayed in this lovely cottage while attending the Fringe of the Woods Festival over Labor Day weekend. The festival was just a five minute drive down the road from from the cottage, and the cottage was within walking distance to town with a grocery store, restaurants and cute thrift shops, also the park, library and post office. The house was perfect for a family with two twin beds in each bedroom, comfy couches in the living room with a great TV, and a nice back porch for hanging out (we never used the BBQ but one is there). The kids really appreciated the treats in the fridge and cupboard, and mom really enjoyed finding a cold, locally brewed beer. It's simple, but comfy and had everything we needed, and we really enjoyed our stay. The host was very responsive during the booking and checking out process. We will be back!
