Located directly on the beach of the Gulf, just waiting for you to come and enjoy the surf and sand! Perfect home for reunions, large get togethers, or families seeking space in an upscale setting with unparalleled beachfront access. Most rooms have en suite baths. Sleeps 22. Pool. Awesome decks! This immaculate two story home has spacious decks. In fact, each bedroom has a deck. The large great room area is close to 900 square feet with decks facing the gulf. There is a carport underneath the home provides covered parking with a storage unit and an outdoor, enclosed, shower and an open, outdoor shower.The house also features two outdoor picnic tables. Seafoam has a shaded pool underneath, perfect for children or those looking to avoid too much sun.

The large, open kitchen has a garbage disposal, dishwasher, microwave, and TWO refrigerator/freezers, and custom-made cabinets. The home also offers televisions, dvd players, cable, internet, telephone with free domestic long distance, a washer/dryer, and ceramic tiled living and dining rooms and baths. The entire house is beautifully decorated and features a stain glass window in the stairwell.

PARKING
Plenty of off street parking for up to 8 vehicles. Really more than you should be driving to a home that sleeps this many!

POOL?
You bet. Private pool. Sheltered under the home. Great respite from the heat! It is primarily a rectangle with outside dimensions and depth of 22x11x3-5' Rectangle

WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 250Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!

SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.

PETS
We do consider well-behaved canine furry friends. This requires owner pre-approval, and is subject to a pet fee (currently $250 per pet). Please inquire.

No smoking please, but feel free to eat lots of shrimp, bask in the warm sun, and have a great time!

Seafoam summer vacation 2024

We had a wonderful stay at Seafoam! Richard was a thoughtful and attentive host. The house had plenty of space for our multi family vacation. Location was great. We loved sitting on the many balconies and watching and hearing the waves. The pool was a welcome addition to cool off after a day at the beach. The house was also very clean.[Yay! 😎😎😎 Thank you so much Lori! I am so happy that everything about Seafoam worked perfectly for you all, and that you loved the home, location, and our support too! First family vacation

Everything was really nice. The kitchen provided all the cooking utensils, pans, and a couple of crock pots we needed. It was spacious enough for our large group. The 2 outside decks were enjoyed very much. Only one small issue with a bathroom door, but it was taken care of in a timely manner.

Spectacular Seafoam Beach House

I highly recommend Seafoam beach house! Beautiful beach view, plenty of space and bathrooms!!! Outside area was great for hanging out or the kids playing in sand. Kids & adults enjoyed the pool! Shared volleyball net with neighbor… had some friendly volleyball competition that broke the ice with the neighbors that have now become friends!! 😊 The only negative would be it being right by one of the beach access paths… but really wasn’t much of a problem. The house and location was awesome!!

Family beach trip

Great house. Loved seating in common area. Loved beach access off back steps and pool under house. Beach a little crowded than used to but didn’t realize public beach access was right beside house. Overall great place to stay though!

Amazing New Years

We had an amazing time! The view is absolutely beautiful, everything we could have wanted. Very few recommendations, as the house is decked out really well. The showers need new shower heads, just for more pressure. Possibly a cabinet made specifically for a pantry, just to get groceries off of the counters and fridge tops. We will be back for sure.

Get this house, you guys will love!

This is the house, the whole family loved the house, loved everything, it was front of the beach , I totally referrer to anybody that loves to be at the beach … they had ever little thing we needed , we enjoyed the view the house it's beautiful … we are totally coming back to stay for more days , 4 nights was little time for us … we are totally coming back .. to have more fun 🤩…. Loved the beach house!!

We really loved the beach house!! That view is just incredible! We wished there was a way to wash the sand off of us from the door facing ocean instead of having to go to the pool area and walk back in through the other door. We eventually got a bucket up there and just rinsed with a water bucket. But not the end of the world. Wish we had the option to heat the pool. It was too cold for us, my niece and I did a "polar plunge" into it once and decided it was way too cold, haha! Beds were comfy, kitchen had all we needed. Two refrigerators is so awesome. Water pressure downstairs was pretty low. My sister was a little freaked out from seeing a couple roaches but we've seen them at every beach house we've stayed at, so we know they love beach houses. I would absolutely recommend this beach house and would love to stay again someday!

Perfect for us!

We had a great time and your place was perfect for us! There was plenty of space for everyone and we pretty much had everything we could need. The easy and quick access to the beach was amazing! Loved having carpet in the bedrooms. Something soft on your feet after a long day at the beach was so nice! Plenty of seating inside and out! 2 refrigerators was something we had never seen in any houses we have rented prior and it might have been everyone's favorite thing! We cooked almost all our meals for the week at the house so we didn't have to go out with our big group... we had LOTs of food and drinks to keep cold. A few other small things that were not a big deal but would have been nice: - a flat electric griddle to make pancakes on. We made due with the big frying pan! - easy access to a broom and dustpan. We did hunt one down in the house so it wasn't a big deal - we tried to sweep some each day to keep the sand out Overall it was great! We definitely will be wanting to stay at your place again when we come back. Thanks for making our vacation so wonderful!

Fabulous time!

Thank you for letting us stay in your home in Gulf Shores. We had a fabulous time! We were all sad to leave and go our separate ways. This trip was set aside to celebrate many of the moments we had not been able to commemorate as we normally would- a return from an overseas deployment, graduations (1 undergrad, 2 master's), anniversaries, new jobs... so many more things... We missed so much due to COVID related issues. It was lovely to just visit and talk as a family. Thank you for helping us make that happen. We had plenty of room to eat, play, relax, and sleep. The Seafoam seems to be in basically good shape. I could tell some updates had been made such as interior paint. Everyone had a place to sit and eat together although if we had been a larger family that would have been difficult. The pool area was great and had plenty of chairs for sitting and lounging. It was a big hit during the crowded beach afternoons and later at night when we weren't ready to give up the day. The amount of towels in each bathroom was great! The 2 refrigerators were a huge bonus for us (one for beverages and the other for food- Perfect!) We had plenty of parking without feeling crowded also (5 total vehicles- all large size). We absolutely would stay here again. We left several floats in the closet at the ground level. They served their purpose for us, maybe the next guest could use them. Thank you again for allowing us this time together in your home. We enjoyed it very much and look forward to another visit.

Everything was absolutely perfect

Thank you for helping make our family vacation a success! Even though we had rain and wind from the effects of the two hurricanes in the gulf, having all six of my kids with their spouses and my grand children under one roof couldn't have taken that joy from me. The home we rented was perfect. The location was perfect. Everything was absolutely perfect. I was at the store when you stopped by to drop off not one, but two cheesecakes, which solidified to me how much you care about the families that rent your homes. Thank you! My family has already started talking about the next time we go to gulf shores! Again thank you so much for helping our family have a very successful and much needed vacation!

Delightful week!

Our family had a wonderful stay in your Seafoam home last week. The house is well-arranged and well-furnished, with places for people to sit in the den, on the porch, and in the dining area. Having stayed in several houses with limited seating, we were glad to be so comfortable. The beds, and their sheets, were in good shape, and towels were clean and plentiful. The kitchen works so well for a large group. It was a relief to have the air conditioning work all week, as in rentals past we've had days without AC because of poor maintenance. We appreciated the working vacuum cleaner, as it helped our housekeeping. You obviously put a lot of effort into renting a nice house. In fact, we will probably want to rent Seafoam again next year. Thank you so much for your hard work which gave us a delightful week!

Great place to stay!

We were 4 families and had so much room at the house. The new deck with a roof and ceiling fan provided us with so many seating areas. Pool provided setting for many great family experiences. The house location provided an almost private beach. Owners were so helpful and responsive . The pictures almost don't do this house justice, so nice. We loved it.

My wife's family have traveled to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Alabama for decades. I became a tag along in the late 1990s, so a Gulf Shores guy by marriage. One thing led to another and we ended up a lot of large, family-friendly, large group friendly, places along the Gulf.

Seafoam is a terrific house in the heart of West Beach Blvd in Gulf Shores. Great layout. Great beach. Expansive views from the deck. A favorite among our family friends for a great balance of features, location, and affordability.

Why they chose this property

My wife's family have traveled to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Alabama for decades. I became a tag along in the late 1990s, so a Gulf Shores guy by marriage. One thing led to another and we ended up a lot of large, family-friendly, large group friendly, places along the Gulf.

What makes this property unique

Seafoam is in a great beachfront location on West Beach, about midway down, and before you get to the Calloway Bridge. Seafoam is a favorite of our family friends and snowbirds! In fact, no, you generally can't get Seafoam anytime from December to start of April, but then its fair game for all. Very very full with repeat guests, so if a slot is open, lock it down!
